Yeah I do it on a bike, since biking is almost non impact compared to running
45 seconds full resistance sprint, 2 mins 15 secs recovery. I can usually manage about 7-8 intervals before I want to vom. Thats when you know you're working hard2010 Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=121533211

I do it on the stationary bike. The one I use has a magnetic resistance, so for the high intensity parts of the workout I max out the resistance and pedal pretty much as fast as I can. I usually get well over 100 RPM according to the bike's display. Leaves me drenched in sweat and gasping for air at the end of it. Good times =D

I do it on a stationary bike as well.
The stationary bike that I use has 20 levels of resistance on it, 1 being the weakest and 20 being the strongest.
I start with doing 2 minutes or warm up on it at Level 8.
After that I do 60 seconds on Level 12 and try to keep it around 20mph.
After that I do 30 seconds of Level 20 and try to keep it around 27mph.
I do 60 and then 30 4 complete times then I take a 5 minute break off the bike.
I then hop on again and do the same routine again, then I'm done. So altogether, I'm doing 12 minutes of HIIT per cardio session. I just started doing HIIT this week so I'm starting off slow on it. Hopefully in two weeks I can bump myself up to doing 3 sets.Team 7: The Dream Team: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=112775911

Yup do it all the time, and I agree, the time it takes for the treadmill to slow down sux when you just got done doing an interval. Also, the bike allows you to go as hard as you can everytime without having to make adjustments, with the treadmill you have to dial-in the speed you want to run at.
I have a three page thread about HIIT here. --> http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=112515391
