I do also have a rule, you dont post, you dont get in the update. It isnt hard to PM it to me, or post it. I hate rules, but I am not gonna take weights from people who dont post in here.
We lost 752 pounds last year. We should shoot for a half ton this time. We just have to be consistent.Last edited by toobigfred; 01-02-2009 at 09:01 PM.

You know I aint going anywhere. I just got started.
I haven't been able to lift in the last few days because I messed my wrist up pretty bad at work, however it's starting to feel better and I think im gonna go light on it tomorrow and see how it feels...if not I'll just do some lower body excercises/abs/cardio.

I'm in, yet again, I'm not doing any contests or competitions this year. It's just gonna be me working my hardest again like I've always done and battling my own inner demons.
I might not weigh myself for a bit since I'm so ashamed for as much as I've let myself go the last 8 months, especially after everyone saw me working so hard earlier last year.
But it's done, in the past, and all I can do is look towards a brighter future and everything.
That being, said let's kick ass this year and if I lose all the weight I need to do, I'll easily be contributing well over 10% of the expected total for 2009.Only Those Who Risk Going Too Far Can Possibly Find Out How Far One Can Go

Day 3 !
**** I CHALLENGE YOU !!!
I say we all commit (to ourselves) to 90 minutes of cardio minimum this weekend. It can be in any form (including supersets/circuit training)as long as the heart rate is up but really should include some walking, treadmill, bike...if you have that. I don't so I've already walked for 30 minutes and will do step ups and one of my tapes.
90 minutes may not be hard for some but I find it's east to forget to workout and easy to overeat on weekends. If 90 minutes is your usual than shoot for a 30 minute increase.
Today I'm going out for lunch with my sister and cousin to Boston Pizza. They are both on board with what I need to do so they have also agreed we will order only a small pizza to share between us all and a huge salad. I will find the smallest piece and they are going to remind me to stop at one which is the hard part. The slice will be factored into my day. Actually I think I will skip the pizza all together. They both want to lose too so it will be easy to stay on track.Goals:

Shoot for 20 minutes a day. I know everybody, no matter how busy can get 20 minutes a day. I am gonna be doing 20 minutes at the end of most of my workouts.

Awesome day, no cardio but I am very happy with my weight, it just keeps on going down. My scale weight going out though is going to be skewed now cause I have been drinking 24oz of water w/ sizeon during the workout so its adding some water weight during the workout.

I believe we can lose weight, but not as much as before!
That is the thing about losing weight, the closer you get to your goal weight the harder it gets!
I lose 49 lbs and that was a breeze! I want to lose another 60 by July, I will have to kick some serious ass to do it, and there is no guarantee it will happen!
Two of our members have reach their goal so far! I intend to go on a by July for 2 months if I inded drop the 60 lbs!
It is not an easy task! Without counting the members that have gone MIA!
It is a good thing to be optimistic and pumped up! But I tend to be more pessimist and realistic!
Just my personnal opinion!
Will we lose weight? Yes
Will some stick around ? Yes
Will it be great? Yes
Will we lose more than 750 lbs? That remains to be seen!My journal:

Been off track the last few days, nothing terrible but it's really depressing that my wrist is still hurting me because the bench just sits in my basement calling me, and I want to lift really bad but it hurts terribly and I know I could cause more damage if I don't let it heal.
Blah.
