    Kroc has a custom set of handles that he can put ridiculous amounts of 10lb plates on and still secure them on the ends. You know those Joe Weider 40lb dumbbell sets you can buy at a Dick's Sporting Goods? Think of a much longer handle that can actually hold some real weight. He made a post about it probably 4-6 months ago.

    His back should be an inspiration to us all.

    It's true -- he uses vice grips to hold the plates on. In some of the videos with him doing DB rows, when he drops the weight, the vice grips fall off.

    Im not as impressed by crocs rows as everyone else seems to be.


    My brother put 300lbs on a dumbell handle using 35lb plates and did 10 croc rows and he almost never did dumbbell rows. I see people croc row 150's for easy reps without ever having done them or even trained back hard for that matter.


    To be honest I think he should be doing allot more considering they are his main back exercise and he was doing 175x30+ reps a LONG time ago.

    your confused on what a croc row is, it isnt 3" of rom consisting of turning your body to the side while bending your arm slightly to pull the 45lb plates on the dumbbell handle into your belly.

    The thing with cheat reps, is its easier to do with more weight. Remember he is 220. Also hard to judge with different equipment I agree I don't like cheat reps to be a judge of strength though. The squat deadlift and bench are for that. Cheat reps are good for building up those 3 main tests though.

    kroc rows are high rep db rows. he got too strong for his heaviest dumbells so he had to start going for rep PRs, thus the Kroc row was born

    no he doesn't train at westside or really uses any of their methods to be honest. His log can be found at elitefts.

    His split could be considered more on the bodybuilding side of the powerlifting training spectrum imo. But he knows what works for him so yea.

    From what I've seen in his logs, he is on a different split now to add mass and bulk to 275. Bench, Squat, Deads, Upper back/Shoulders, and Arms
