HEAVY DUTY HIT AND POWER EATING EXPERIMENT
This Is A Hit Routine From Mike Mentzers Heavy Duty
I'll be following mike mentzers training and Susan kleiners power eating diet which i'll post later.
As some of you might be aware i had a bad accident on my motorbike last year which seen me in hospital and i ended up losing mass and gaining fat, i got back in the gym for 2 months, gained muscle mass and strength then i lost all motivation, i dont know why but i really wish i hadnt, that was about 3 months ago, again ive lost most of what i gained in those short 2 months and gained the fat i lost back, not this time, not this year
The Workout
workout one: chest and back
Dumbell flyes for pre-exhuast 1x "6-10 reps"
Incline presses 1 x 1-3 reps
Back:
straight arm pulldowns for pre-exhuast 1x 6-10
palms up pulldowns 1x 6-10 reps
Deadlifts 1 x 6-10 reps
"Rest 4 to 7 days"
workout two: Legs and abs
LegsLeg extensions for pre-exhuast 1x 12-20 reps
Leg presses 1x 12-20
Standing calf raises 1 x 6-10 reps
Abs:
Sit ups 1x 12-20
"Rest 4 to 7 days"
Workout Three: Shoulders and Arms
Shoulders:
Dumbell lateral raises 1x 6-10 reps
Bent over dumbell laterals 1x 6-10 reps
Biceps: palms up pulldowns 1 x 6-10 reps
Triceps
pressdowms for pre-exhuast 1x 6-10
Dipd 1 x 3-5
"Rest 4 to 7 days"
workout four: Legs and abs
LegsLeg extensions for pre-exhuast 1x 12-20 reps
Leg presses 1x 12-20
Standing calf raises 1 x 6-10 reps
Abs:
Sit ups 1x 12-20
"Rest 4 to 7 days then repeat a new workout cycle beggining with workout one"
I'll post a Most muscular shot, a Front double Bicep,and a standing relaxed front/back (Leg shots included)
At the end of each month i'll take another picture in all these poses to check gains rather than relying on the scale- which can be misleading
Because i dont know where my strength lies at the minute (will have lost alot of strength since last been at the gym) my stats will be uploaded after ive finished one whole cycle of training and then be posting gains in strength and progression in reps i.e if i cant move heavier weight i must be doing more reps

Thanks man, well im open to tinkering the recovery if i find that when i raise my time to recovery rate of training that i regress i may up training frequency again,Right now im just embarrassed, altho i blame it all on my accident its my giving up and losing motivation after that, its an insult to me and my body man.

Yeah Broke my leg, damaged tendons, soft tissue and my ankle, unable to walk i gained fat and lost mass, ive broken 3 bones before and its not a big deal its the tendons and soft tissue that left me needing physiotherapy and to get flexability again, the ankle hardened up and wasnt very "lubricated"

Back from training one, i physched myself up like my viking ancestors would have and went "beserk" Hit the weights hard and heavy i feel sick, weak, and i seem to have triggered a bad stomach...aka the ****s

O.o? Same workout..
Usually takes me 20 minutes or so to complete my workouts. Usually warmup first with a couple low rep sets with a multi-joint exercise. Rest 3-4 days depending on soreness/fatigue. Do some cardio on off days -- about 15-25 minutes depending on previous day's diet. After progression yields, I will be starting the consolidation routine.

quite sore today...movement hurts...so the idea now is to rest and recover over 4-7 days depeding on how i feel, at this point i should also point out im not starting the power eating diet until next month because of funds....or lack of my job dicked me out of all my overtime and took 400 pounds off my paycheck as some kind of a "mistake"...im paid monthly so will have to wait until the 25th to sort it out.
anyway feeling.....hurt......diets basically excess calories...or eating lots tryna keep it clean2006 OG

Guys, after speaking to some people who have done HIT and or are on HIT ive come to the point where ive decided that im going to fiddle and experiment with the recovery because there have been several people who have said they made great gains but stalled and then even regressed due to the recovery being too long i'll try and keep the intensity the same without dropping back much and stick to the 4-7 day recovery depending on how i feel, somehow 14 days is just way to long before hitting the next muscle groups thats where mike may have gone wrong...too much recovery time...way too much 4-7 days i'll stick with that

Hit legs and abs today...owe...couldnt go to complete failure on leg press tho? added significantly more weight twice and then again that time i couldnt lift it at all with strict form...so i took the extra 40 kg off and left all the other plates on went for 20 reps...it hurt bad...it was always gonna, but it felt like i always had that little bit more in me...no pics but my legs were swole after..big..jelly like super inflated muscles lol, abs felt good couldnt hit failure on them either tho again it felt like somthing was stopping me like i was cardiovasularly exhuasted altho i wasnt huffing and puffing i felt like i wasany idea's guys?

Probably, calves are still hurting alot, walking is difficult, im limping a little actually i only noticed today, im hoping the update pics show progress, i feel like im bigger but im wondering if the difference will be as noticable on picture as in the mirror

Well guys my money problems finally got on top of me and i havent been to the gym in like 2 weeks :'( like i literally didny own any money to go with but aha! friday i got paid and im back hitting arms today AND going to start power eating diet tomorrow going to be real careful with money now so theres always enough for the gym for the rest of the year.
