For under $100 (barely), I'd get these personally.

They look identical to the "Rogues", but I guess Pendlay has his own version now that are very dark blue. I have the Rogues and have never had a problem with them (I'm jonesing for the new adidas adistar's though, $200, ouch!).

I've got a basic question. Are the prices shown that of one shoe or of a pair? I suppose they are of a pair but I seem to remember visiting a site which sold them individually.
Thanks."Is he an honest man? If he is, you should respect him and let him continue with his work. Is he weak? If it were so, it would not be brave thing to do to push a man who is falling."

I ordered my bumper set from there and it only took 3-4 days. I did order some straps once and it took a couple of weeks, but this was before the muscledriver/pendlay joining of forces. If you order these shoes, you might want to actually call pendlay/muscledriver, because the sizing is a little funny.

It does, but the thing is, the seller sometimes automatically gives you the half size lower and sometimes not. I got exactly the size I ordered, some folks have said that they will ship the half size lower for you without asking, figuring you don't know about the size issue. That's why I said it might be better to call, it avoids all this.

I have been using the adistar 2008. these are awesome for squatting. I get so much more power and drive, especially at the bottom of the squat. Its much easier to keep balance and control over the bar. Well worth the money, I paid €190 and would pay more, thats how good I think they are.
Just some advice, they are quite narrow. The first two workouts itll take a while till they adjust if you have wide feet like mine, and remember to buy one size bigger than your actual size.
I dont understand why anyone would use these to deadlift though. You DONT want to be elevated at all, and you dont either want your heel higher... I deadlift in my socks.
Any question about adistar 2008's, just ask

Mark Rippetoe recommends them for both squats and deadlifts, but he's careful to point out that you don't want an especially high heel. I know he advises that people with DoWins or some other similar Chinese shoes have the heels shaved down 1/2" or so. Even the Rogues have a bit too much heel to suit him, I think he likes the older Adidas models.

I tried ordering Rogues in the same (American) size as my old DoWins, and ended up getting a bigger size. I think the problem is that everything they do is a conversion from European sizing. My DoWins were ordered as a 9.5 and I got a European size 42 (perfect), my Rogues were ordered as a 9.5 and I got a European size 43 (too big). Asking for a specific European size seemed to be the safest way to get it right.
