I just skimmed the journal section to say Merry Christmas to some female members who may or may not post out here, but I'm not about to run the boards with all the male members I know in there . When I had a journal, it always seemed monotonous when a holiday would come around...and everyone felt obligated to come by and post in every journal.
So, I'm saying Merry Christmas to all you sons-a-bitches, and bitchesses
Everyone have a safe and merry day. I've been up since 4AM for some damn reason, and I'll be getting today's DC training done earlier than expected, as I'll start about 7:15 or so.
So, what are your plans for today?

We do something similar; we will go to my younger sister's home for dinner, and then open some gifts. We'll be back at home before midnight, and then my immediate family (wife/kids) will open gifts amongst ourselves. And then..... Santa still comes... and there are gifts for the kids in the morning.
Oh, and I was just informed yesterday that my mother in-law and one brother in-law will be driving down here from OH tonight. Don't ask me if that's a good thing"If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

Merry Christmas!
I'll be heading to the gym later today, I know my wife and mother-in-law are going to be doing some baking, so I had better start early on damage control!
I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe holiday!

You're not going to believe it! I just got a phone call (I'm thinking, "Jesus, who's calling at 7am?") and it's my mother in-law. It turns out she MAY not be driving down after all. There's still a chance, but x-mas is already looking up
And I forgot to mention earlier; and we always have a big Christmas dinner at my home.

Yeah today is a half day at work, but I was up at 5am yesterday morning as usual but did not get to sleep till past midnight trying to get things done, like finish shopping, wrap, clean house and such.
Then after work today it's out for more of that stuff before friends show up from Virginia around 7ish. I will be so happy to rest. I am really finding it hard existing on 5 hours sleep for the past week and a bit.djl_ottawa

Got my workout in at 7am, came into work, and just finished my chicken/sweet potato/squash meal. I'm a morning person, but not when it comes to lifting or eating that kind of a meal
Gonna leave work about 1, do some chores, wrap presents, and help my daughter make peanut butter balls. Then we'll just chill out for the evening. Tomorrow afternoon we'll head to my mom's house but it'll be a small gathering. Just 4 of us. My sister's kid has mono and my brother's daughter is staying home with her little one. Should be a very quiet, laid back day.
My gym (community center) is closed Thurs - Sat this week and next week. It's never open on Sun. We may print out a free week pass to Gold's and go there. Which will probably be dangerous as I know I'll like it far too much.
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Kevin.
My plans are to finish up work today head home, and go to church with the family.
After church we will come home and have dinner and my wife, daughter and I will watch whatever movies my daughter picks out today. Around 10 PM my daughter will be in bed and hopefully asleep so santa can fill the stockings and set out the presents.
Pretty low key christmas eve's at out house"Some people are like Slinkies. They're not really good for anything but they sure bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs."

Yeah wife and I usually do church Christmas Eve, but with friends who are coming down, they are not religious so we are skipping it this year. We want to spent time with them.
It's not low key at ours, wish at was at times. Just relax with a glass of wine, a fire in the fireplace. But it's going to be a wild night with two kids, 5 adults.djl_ottawa

Our shop closes at noon today, so we'll do our last minute stuff.
Tonight we will take in 2 Christmas Eve Services, one at our own Church and then at Midnight a Catholic service at the local Cathedral.
Tomorrow it's wake up early and open gifts, head to my mother in laws to open more gifts, and then in the afternoon it's off to our Pastors house where we will be having Christmas Dinner. They came to our house for Turkey Day, so it's off to their home for Christmas.
Should be a wonderful day, my wife and the Pastor's wife are very close and our teenage daughters are tighter than all out.
God Bless you all and remember to keep 'Christ' in all your Christmas traditions! He is the reason for the season!
Blessings!

Merry Christmas to all of my e-friends.
So far it's not shaping up to be a very merry one on my home front. The wife is in the hospital and the doctors still are not sure of what the problem is. With this hectic time as well as the gym being closed for a couple of days I decided to take the entire week off. I think maybe my body needs a break anyways.Obsession is a word used by the weak to describe the dedicated

Merry Christmas everyone.
I am home currently watching our children while my wife is at work. After lunch I will take the kids to the pet store to get the family pet bunny a Christmas gift. After that I hope to get my workout in and then we will all go to Church.Government Philosophy: If it isn't broke, fix it until it is.
