Im thinking of getting one. Im sure it helps not heat up the kitchen in the summer too. I dont use the oven much for long cooking so I though this may be a good alternative for energy savings.
Im going green Reducing our carbon footprint as much as possible.

I have one, my Mom insisted on getting it for me. It's nice to have, bagels and things come out better than they do in regular toasters imo

Toaster ovens are amazing... Only time I don't use it is if it is too big to fit in it.
Takes a little bit to understand how to cook certain things at diff temps and junk, but makes everything a lot easier and uses less energy."Strive for the impossible to be the best possible"

For the past year I have only used a toaster oven and a regular oven. I moved and my microwave was a bit old so I threw it out before the move. I have not missed my microwave one bit.
I use the toaster oven from single serving things, toast, bagels, a quick warm ups.Misc Scotch Crew.

its a good tool. i often cook one or two pieces of chicken, and instead of getting the whole oven hot, the toaster oven ends up cooking quicker.

i like my toaster oven, its good for toastin bread and all those frozen type foods (hot pockets, waffles, sturedls things etc)
its good for cooking chicken and meat to, sort of but nice and slow..... i find the oven better since i can just put it up to 450 degrees and bake an arse load of ckn at once but im just impatient now.Deport ALL Illegal Aliens

Mine sucks. It doesn't toast bread evenly. One side is always toasted and the other hardly at all. So as a toaster it sucks, but as a mini little electric oven it's quite nice.
Yes, there is indeed a deeper component to it all.

i have one and i like it... make sure it has a broiler (my oven doesnt have one), it is excellent for melting toppings (tuna melts!) and for quick cooking...
i use it to cook smaller meals that i dont want my oven on for ... in the winter i dont mind but in the summer a hot oven is a bad ideaGaspari Nutrition Rep and Overall BAMF

I do have one because toaster oven are to a great handy and helpful because they can warm, toast, cook, prepare, defrost, and sear. It's simpler than you might think. With only a couple of little changes you can make perfectly heated dishes any time.
