I was supposed to take last night week 4 day 4 off and have two light training days next week but I'm changing it a bit. Next week week5 is supposed to lead up to a meet that weekend. I'm a looser and don't have a meet.
So, I moved one of the light days to last night, I'll take my Saturday day1 training off, and hit max attempts through next week. I'm planning Monday Squat, Tuesday Bench, and Thursday Deadlift.

About to find out. All I want tonight is 405. 345 was my previous peaked 1RM. 375 was my last tested 1RM after accumulation volume block. I hit a single at 395 10RPE a couple weeks ago and honestly not sure I even hit depth as I felt I cut it. My phone fell over so couldn't confirm.
So, 405 would be f'n awesome. I'm supposed to be peaked now but sure don't feel like it. If I was going into a meet I would have taken the past couple weekends a bit easier(building a pool deck now) and would have had this full week to deload into.

Was heavy but not as bad as the 395 a couple weeks ago. You can see I got a little shaky in the hole. My body wanted to cut it short but my brain took over and wanted to make sure I got it in and sunk it a bit before heading back up. Almost pause squatted it if I hesitated anymore.

I hate excuses. I was giving a cop out bull**** before I even tried. WTF. So, I called myself out and challenged myself to 315. 20 weeks of training and I'm not going to even f'n try to hit a PR? That's B.S. One of those mental things and I got pissed. Even pulled out an ammonia cap. I rarely ever do that except at a meet.

Fark that hurt. Everything's cramping up now. Felt shaky after 375. Thumbs pounding away. Chest felt like it was about to rip.
Just couldn't get my hook set right tonight. Hurt like hell but decided to stick with it. Kept telling myself it's only singles and will go quick.
Got to 415 and said F'it. Didn't want to do math and just tossed back on the quarters. Crappy hook, chest and hams locking up I just lost it. Then got pissed off and took it again. Set my hook much better ignoring the pain best I could. Added some chalk for a little insurance. Hit the PR!
