In reference to this thread: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...#post256013061
There are a few members that are in the low to mid 4's on deadlift. I think it would be healthy for everyones strength to have a race to 500.
The end of the race will be May 1st, 2009 there for Ein will have a little bit of lead way.
Maybe we could make a journal and share it, we could all post our workouts, therefore we can constantly compare eachother's progress. Let me know what you think.

Arlecchino is going to rep the member who wins. Iron619 will also .
RULES
1. Everyone must rep the winner.
2. Everyone must provide a video of their final lift.
3. Everyone must post updates in this thread on a weekly basis.
4. Follow rules 1-3.
Although this is a race, some people are closer to the goal than others. I have now set a limit on how soon you can do it. If anyone completes the lift before February 1st, it does not count. By doing thus, I have made the competition more fair. I also think it is fair that everyone on the list reps everyone that acheives the goal, no matter when.

Cool, I'm in.
Although you're already at 475 so I don't know how fair would this contest be.Workout journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=116712111

Sure, I'll participate in this. I'm a Junior that will be lifting as a 198'er next year...right now I'm at 195 and still bulking up as fast as I can.
My best DL is only 445 raw...very average, but I'm working my ass off to improve it. I'll be getting some gear next month, and I will be training at a more serious gym. With gear, a more serious training enviornment, and more weight gain, there is no doubt in my mind that I'll break 500 by summer.
My long term goal is to set the UPA deadlift record as either a Junior 198 or a 220, and I'll have 3 years to do it...I'm willing to put the work to make it happen, but first I want to break 500.

Done this once and went from 420 x 2 to 440 x 2.
