Weird clicking/tingling/shifting sensation in my forearms

I got it today doing pullups. It felt as if the tendons/bones in the middle of my forearms were shifting around during the lift. I noticed that I only got it when I went down all the way; if I decrease my range of motion, I wouldn't feel it.

I'm not sure if I've ever had this before. If I had, I never noticed it like I did today. It wasn't painful, but it also wasn't pleasant. Maybe a minor tinge or so.

So what exactly is this? And how do I avoid it when doing pullups (yes, I experimented with grips, seems like I feel it whether I'm narrow or wide)

    Question

    Sounds like two things possibly

First I (and seeing a thread here on bb.com with others suffering) sometimes get a "shin splint" type feeling in the forearm when doing bicep workouts/etc not necessarily painful like you said just not pleasant.

Second, it maybe be possible that you are dropping/lowering to fast and putting strain on your arms? Just make sure you come down with a controlled manner.

    I hope this helps ?

A "shin splint" feeling? When I used to get shin splints I used to get a crap load of pain for them. Can you elaborate?

I don't know if I'm lowering too fast either... but I guess I'll try lowering myself at a slower pace to see if it has any effect.

    Anyone else?
