im sorry i cant offer much info but it generally reaches the colon unchanged and it then metabolised by colon bacteria. its very poorly absorbed in the gi tract and theres no enzyme to help brea it down

Yeah, that stuff cures constipation by giving you diarrhea. Which is fine if you really, really need it, I suppose.

Lactulose
Not a Doctor or making any specific claims. I am a concerned mother of a body builder son.
Lactulose was invented in 1929 and became widely used in the medical field in the 1950’s; it’s a synthetic sugar, goes by about 11 different names that I am aware of. Yes, it is used for many different reasons and effective, used for diabetes as well.
Things to consider........not processed by the human body, electrolyte imbalance causing diarrhea, just one problem possible others;
Mood changes, personality change are just at the beginning. It causes a chain reaction, Watch your body, feed it nature’s foods. Facts I saw first hand. (Every “body” genetically is different)
