I'm coming back to the court after injury, don't know exactly when, but soon, I hope. I'll start weight lifting to get some lost strength back. I have few ideas what supplements to take, but I want your opinion. I think I'll take Dymatize whey and CEO. But, can anyone tell me is it recommended for younger athletes(19 years) and what can I expect from this? I'll probably be doing weihgt training 2 or 3 times a week including team practices on the court. Thank you!

Basketball player supplements

first off, a multi-vitamin and fish oil are the foundations of any supplement stack. for basketball (aerobic), something like BCAA's (xtreme formulations ICE, Xtend) would be great to sip on during for a possible boost in stamina/endurance. pre-game/practice, the best "looking" product would have to been MAN Body Octane. i will admit that i've never used it, but i've used all of the ingredients separately or as a part of another formula and they flat out work. but, beta-alanine is really a no-brainer for basketball, since lactic acid is probably the biggest limiting factor when i play, and BA minimizes lactic acid build-up. also, millennium sport technologies Cordygen5/Cordygen-VO2 work great for endurance, stamina, mood, and mainly, O2 utilization. something like PLCAR/ACLAR + GPLC could be fun to play around with.
other things to consider:
bulk beta alanine (any powder will do)
bulk citrulline malate (" ")
bulk creatine monohydrate (Prolab)
AEN IntrAbolic/XF Vendetta
using any of these products (or a combination of them) to supplement your training regime should result in an increase in endurance, strength and stamina, and positively impact mood whilst decreasing lactic acid build-up. good luck!

LOL. he said he was already planning on taking dymatize elite whey. why would i recommend him another protein? it's cheap and it'll get the job done. nothing i recommended him is bad, and wouldn't "transform him into a robot." why don't you educate yourself a little bit before interjecting your worthless opinion. your ignorance is profound, as you clearly know nothing about supplementation.

I don't have it on english. It says that is like 3 generation of creatine...ect.. I think it's better to stick with the wll known formula. I'll see if I can buy Prolab(probably can) in europe. I'll go with that.
yes, I forgot to write that down,I'll also take elastijoint, so my injury don't come back.
