Did 3 sets of 225lbs for 50 feet on Trap Bar Farmer’s Walk. Nothing special but it’s the heaviest I’ve gone on them and I’m looking forward to when I can compete doing a real one.

Reached my goal for my current bulk. 350 Pound bench press for a tng 1rm. This weight psyched me out big time, it took me 5 weeks to go from 345 to 350. It's still a long road to 405. I'm going to start taking lift offs, I think. Self lifting off in the mid-300's is starting to bother my shoulder slightly.
If you are so inclined, the video is on the youtube channel Darcnesstrophies.

Hit a 435 squat w/ wraps for a 5 lb PR. Only took 8 weeks after coming back from surgery to hit this all time PR. Also hit 405 without wraps to tie my non wrapped PR. Had more in the tank without wraps so may have been a good idea to not use wraps but it was tempting to beat my old PR of 430!

5 weeks since my last max, I hit a 445 squat w/ wraps today. Very happy; had a good cycle. Cut it at 445 knowing 455+ will be there in another in another cycle of training.

Didn't post after my most recent meet. It was my last PL meet for the season. Not great, but did set a deadlift PR at 370.
That brings my meet totals up to 305/205/370.... I'll be back.
Just found out I have Ohio State records for all lifts and total for drug tested, and bench and dead for non-tested (no tested div at Nationals)2020 Olympia Bound | NPC WPD Nationally Qualified | 2018 Arnold Amateur WPD Top 3 | 2x WPD Pro World Champion (INBA/DFAC)

585x3 low bar squat deep in sleeves today. 3 Rep Squat Personal Rep Max Record. 635x1, 615x2 are my 2 and 3 rm pr's. This was today. I'm 5'11.5 and 220. This was after hour and a half workout of mostly isolation exercises and core exercises. In circuit with 315 for 2 sets of 3 on Close Grip, and worked up to 585x2.5 deadlift, couldn't finish the third rep. Hit 2x3 reps at 585 on squat. This was second set. This is a brand new account and it won't let me post a link because it says i have 0 posts and need 50.

I didnt get folded by 145kg kg today! I could cry! I've been stuck at 315 for nearly a year every time I tried to add 5 lbs I would get folded. Today I didnt. Squat is finally FINALLY moving again...technically it was even 146 with the clips. Gonna count every lb.
212 paused for a triple on binch. I'm ready to finish middle of the pack as a 63 at nationals this year!Last edited by swolegma; 09-05-2019 at 03:19 PM.

I've been lifting for 9 weeks after about 2 years of doing absolutely nothing. I'm excited as I'm 35 pounds away from the 1000 pound club, which has been my goal. Just this week I hit a 165 OHP PR, a 320 Squat PR, and a 385 DL to match my previous PR. On the DL I failed when I got to my knees. so I took my shoes off and tried again, and hardly got to the top of my shins. I went for a 3rd attempt and got the lift. I've never had a good lift after failing twice, but I knew I had it in me.

Made a lot of progress over the past year. I quit training balls to the walls 5x/week and I quit going crazy on volume. I used to squat everyday and do tons of exercises every day. I planned things out and did a few specific sets and small weekly progressions. I thought out my program and in August squatted 635 at 221 in just a belt. I also hit 585x4, 585 for 2 sets of 3. I went from my lifetime deadlift record being 600 to pulling 600x4. Preparing for a competition in December. So here are my recent PR's

Suffered a minor quad injury last month (began late November but diagnosed in December). Really been focusing on bringing up my bench and stiff leg deadlift as I can’t squat heavy for now and I need to be careful with full on conventional and sumo deadlifts. Recent PRs have been 225x10 TnG Bench, 225x1 incline Bench, and 400x3 stiff leg deadlift. Very happy with this progress as my best reps with 225 on bench before were 8 (only got 7 last month) and my incline/overhead strength has always severely lagged so 225 incline is good for me. Finally capped it off with my stiff leg PR of 400x3 this evening. Should be good for a 300 bench and mid 4’s deadlift soon.

Been doing 10x10 squats every 8 or 9 days for a couple months, took a bit of a deload and tested one rep max today. Wasn't expecting much having not done anything over 225 in a few months. 275 felt great, so went for 305 (10 lbs under my PR). Felt a bit shaky walking out but the lift moved like I was the boss. Went for a PR of 325 and same deal, a bit shaky walking out but the lift moved smoothly. 335 felt better walking out (I guess I had to remind myself I need to brace for the walk out). Lift was a struggle, didn't go as deep as usual but looks around parallel. Hard to tell cuz the video is from waist height and an angle from behind.
Figure I can solidify that lift and bump the weight up with a couple months of strength training. Hoping to get 365 this next phase before I have to cut again.Current...................375 / 285 / 505.............185 lbs

My bulking is over and I started sliding into physique prep, so my powerlifting is winding down. But on back to back weekends I PRd my bench (275) and my dead (415) at 150ish bodyweight.
I thought my PR days were behind me, so I'll take it!2020 Olympia Bound | NPC WPD Nationally Qualified | 2018 Arnold Amateur WPD Top 3 | 2x WPD Pro World Champion (INBA/DFAC)

Lean Man Trying to Become a Marine.
I am very new to this powerlifting activity, but also extremely excited. I’m capable of doing over 50 pull-ups within a very short period of time (an hour) and have summited the Manitou Incline over 10 times. Made it to Base Camp last year and intend to summit all the way this year. Next challenge will be undertaking Mt. McKinley, Delano, Everest, and K2. I am trying to become a marine and an elite hiker. In addition to that, I am training for a marathon. Hope I win it, that would be awesome. Objective: I would like to gain 50 pounds of muscle and weigh approximately 200 pounds. 300 pounds would be even better. I am aiming to become some sort of mixed martial arts fighter. Knockout punches are great, especially when the fight is fair. Have a great time guys. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be really muscular and fit. You guys should be proud.

hamstrings/hip bothering me so my chiropractor told me to do box squats for 2-3 weeks.
I took 500 off the rack and did 5 reps on a high box.
Been 14 years since I had that much on my shoulders. At first I thought I was gonna be stapled to the box but I got up 5 times!
Transitioning to low bar squats the past few weeks, feeling good.
