God damn you're an idiot.
Wtf do you think Obama has done? "McCain is going to raise your taxes and keep us in the war" "McCain isthe same as Bush" would you say thats not running a campaign on fear for McCain supporters?
And I'm pretty sure Obama has had more than one message since day one, just depends on what state he's talking in that day =]
How have Republicans destroyed our economy? You tell me..
Weren't the Democrats the ones in office and made Fannie Mae reduce standards for home mortgages because they wanted lower class people to have a chance at buying a home? ****, that turned out pretty well didn't it?
Weren't Democrats the ones in office when all of the financial problems started popping up and looks like they're really the such great Democrats to the rescue who couldn't even save our economy years ago, how are they to be trusted to do it this time?
Why don't you also tell me how our Military is destroyed when its the strongest it's ever been?
Why don't you get a clue before you start spewing out the same type of bull**** you claim the Republicans do. kthxbye.
*Insert pwn'd picture here*
Should I pull up some welfare figures?
Should I pull up unemployment rates for minorities?
Its an accepted fact that minorities are generally less likely to get ahead, and dont give me that bull**** about racism or whatever you see plenty of minorities making >250k...

Well I wouldn't exactly call racism bull**** because it's still alive and well, but maybe you're just too blind to see it =]
And how many minorities do you actually know? I can name many more that I know that AREN'T on welfare than are. Welfare doesn't mean you aren't trying, as some people actually come OFF welfare. Most people tend to be set on the right path by their parents. My mother set my sister and I on the right path, which is why I'm doing well in an extremely academically challenging school and my sister attends Vassar, one of the top schools in the country, and is also doing well there. My aunt, on the other hand, never emphasized the importance of school to my cousin who is now a COMMUNITY COLLEGE drop out. Now if you have multiple parents like my aunt who don't emphasize the importance of school to their kids you have large amounts of people on welfare and unemployed people.
And on unemployment rates, it's pretty easy to get laid off a job that isn't exactly a necessity to the company.Idk my maxes at this point, I'm just starting back.. current PRs

well : ]
it wasnt bad loans existing that destroyed this economy, its them being bundled and sold on wall street that caused the crash. Which was REPUBLICAN deregulation.
our military strongest its ever been?!!? do you know anyone in service in Afganistan? Well let me tell you right now taliban are taking ground every day. Theres many areas we cannot go now. Our troops are not getting even 3 meals a day anymore.
oh but yeah were doing great right?
And no, when clinton was in office he eliminated half the national debt and improved the middle class's income by an average of 7000 dollars per family.
it was bush's economic model for wall street that just crash'd the economy last month.

But how many times did we get attacked when Clinton was in office, and how many times when Bush was in office? huh?
I never said Bush was a good president economically, but on national security levels, he actually did okay. And you might say "Oh wait 9/11" but the twin towers were attacked when Clinton was in office, and he didn't do ****.
And who do you know that's in the service?Last edited by tooextreme; 11-01-2008 at 06:48 PM.

First off, its alot easier to have a better economy when NOT in a war.
Bad loans did cause ALOT of this financial crisis. You have no clue how the circle of loans work do you? Dude, when the loans go bad, nobody wants to buy them, and banks are stuck with them, banks need money, banks pull out of stock market to have money. Loan bonds have ALWAYS been sold on the market. They've always been able to be bought, not anymore.
No, it was the banks crisis, again from bad loans...
I know plenty of people in the military, source to say they're not getting 3 meals a day?
Gaining land doesn't mean they're weak, it means its hard to get a good angle of attack on the enemy. Sure we could pump hundreds of thousands of people into one area or just blow up a bunch of ****, but we don't, and since we don't we have to battle by hand.

You are surprised that I know about the election and who is running?
I don't mean this in an offensive way but Americans are too caught up in themselves to worry about other countries. Not in a good way. A few of my friends were telling the class (they had been to America over the summer) how there was no reporting about anything outside of the US. Nothing whatsoever. They were saying there was not a single report during their entire times in America of anything happening in another country and how news stations will keep on referring to the deaths of soldiers, terrorists, etc. and leave little room for anything other than news items similar to those. I don't know about all countries, but from all the countries I've visited, they all report on issues and events outside of their own country. They said it was as if they were being cut off from other countries.
The American election (and other important international events) is reported on daily in Irish news and other EU countries' news.
People in Europe would pay just as much attention to the election as American citizens would.Last edited by crunchfit; 11-01-2008 at 07:18 PM.
