True that Stayfit, and you know what. I have to stress that. Today I did those 4 sets, ass to grass, my calves smashed against my hams and i paused on every rep. I could barely walk. I took a 5 month Hiatus from lifting and I have been in a caloric deficit of 1000 cals a day for 9 weeks now, I am very pleased with those numbers because they were clean reps, with great form, sick depth, and no injury. What more could a man ask for. On top of that the diet was TOP notch.

I will make my BBer e-pose proud with some sick progress over the next few months, your heads will turn guys. This fat kid is committed and will stop at nothing to reach his goals.

I am going to try to get my lean on faster than you can imagine. You all are saying its going to take 11 months to get shredded. I say we can work some magic between now and then. There are a few dietary tricks up my sleeve.

You got the right idea. I get caught up with numbers on a bulk because I tell myself my strength is increasing so my muscles must be getting bigger......and thats true to an extent. But, you're right. The weight is a tool. Thats it. If you can make your legs blistering sore with 245 lbs, then youre doing something right. Thats all that matters. The rest is all ego crap.

great job bro! I had a couple cheat meals lately, but luckily they've only been half bad, besides the Arby's BIGGEST meal. lol
I checked my weight the other day and I was around 207 after my workout and a meal. I'm wanting to compete at around 195, but I have about 25 pounds of fat to lose while I'm gaining some muscle.
After the Arnold then i'll have 8 months of some really good motivation till my show. It'll be good to meet people from the boards out there.
    Hit it hard bro!

Nice, Looks like my morning weight is hovering at just above 217, which makes me happy because it means I might have a good 175+lbs of LBM.

    Thanks for the critique Ascitiesburn.

I hope the back will start coming in more over these next 4 weeks. If all goes well, back and chest will start to come in more. I have been beating the crap out of both. I realized my lats are a weak point, I have been focusing hard on my back days to blast them. I have to find a way to do the same for chest.

Morning weight 218.6lbs after #1 and 2 (So happy, maybe the creatine is helping in keeping me from whithering away to nothing).

If you dont mind me saying for lats

Pull ups super setted with smith machine pull ups are awsome.
Even if you can only pull out 2 pull ups. But with your feet on the floor you can definitely get 10 on the smith machine.

No doubt, i get it now lol. Thank you for the link! Its the negative portion of the lift that is making your traps explode. Its a great way to promote hypertrophy to stubborn areas =)

    BW x 12
    BW x 11

    Front Plate Raises

Done and done. My shoulder didn't hurt after this workout like they normally do. The intensity was good. Form was amazing. Focusing on the squeeze on every single rep, making sure I use full ROM.

I am noticing every week slowly the cuts are coming in. More upper arm, shoulder definition was visible today compared to last shoulder/arm day.

So far so good, diet today will be perfect as usual.

So I was bored and home, figured I would give you guys a small picture update on how things are going. Weight was 217.4 this morning. Feeling pretty damn good honestly.

Pictures are No pump, poor lighting, and cell phone cam, will have to pardon me!

Back side of the arms/shoulder leaning out

    18.1" cold, man I need a tan.

Traps are starting to come in, cuts are starting to show. I think I am about

15-17% BF, where would you guys pin me at going by these pictures. I am just trying to get a ballpark lol, I know the actual # doesn't matter.

Still a long ways to go, I will be happy once I drop under 15% bf.

I do have to start doing hammer curls, indeed. And some more direct forarm training besides deadlifts and rows lol!

    Morning weight 218.2 after # 1-2

Really happy with the weight staying around here the past two months lol. Can't imagine getting to low right now.

Went out and bought some Arganine AKG for a workout pump on those low carb days lol. Oh and got some wrist wraps today so I won't mess up my deadlift session due to sweaty palms anymore.

lol awesome, great progress too! I bet doing straight Arginine is a lot cheaper than using an N.O. product, may have to try that out!

Mmmmmm, the only thing those NO products are is Sugar, Arginine of some sort, and a little creatine.

I have read reviews before going ot the store today. And everyone so far seems to like A-AKG over L-Arginine. Both get great reviews though.

Blahzay128 thats awesome news brotha man. Hopefully I end up a Light Heavy. I might take you up on that offer, although I don't want to make any concrete plans yet lol, a bit too early. I definitely am looking forward to meeting some of the guys off the forums at either of these shows.

Looking forward to hitting chest/upper back tonight hard!!!!

man you have a great amount of muscle...makes me jealous lol. you asked what your bf% is based on those pics...honestly its impossible to tell based on those pics. if you post a full body front relaxed and full body rear relaxed it will be much easier to judge. plus posting pics of the proper poses will force you to practice your posing...something that you can NEVER practice too much. I practiced my posing about 4 times a week for 16 weeks and i was one of the few guys on stage able to hold the poses without becoming winded. good luck on your prep.

Thanks man. My LBM is nothing great for my height lol. I have a long long long way to go as far as conditioning and cutting goes. Hopefully I get to keep as much of it as possible.

Thanks for the tips on the poses, I have been practicing my posing almost every day. I can't really hit the mandatorys and simultaneously take a picture with my cell phone cam >.<

I will have someone take some real pictures soon.
