For those that do not know me, I have a lot of experience with the Starting Strength program. After a two month layoff from the weights, I will be making a fresh start following Starting Strength for an undetermined amount of time. This time around, I know what and what not to do, so there will be less mistakes than last time. My main goal right now is to gain back the strength I once had, but with better form and smarter decisions.
My strength goals are:
Squat: 3x5x225
Bench: 3x5x155
Deadlift: 1x5x265
I will be following the basic template of Starting Strength, and when I feel the time is right in my training, I will make adjustments with the layout of the program. When those adjustments no longer work, I will move onto an intermediate program. Feel free to give any advice or encouragement.

Thanks for stopping by everyone. Tomorrow will be my first "real" day back, so I will be following Tue/Thu/Sat for my sessions.
I will find my starting weight tomorrow when I go to the gym. Like it says in the first post, I will be on Starting Strength for an undetermined amount of time. When I feel I can no longer follow a linear progression will most likely be the time to move on.SFW

Nice to see you here, Matt. As much as I enjoy setting new PR's or breaking a plateau, there isn't much to enjoy during the first few weeks starting back. I think this time around I will be more aggressive with the weight increase, but nothing too drastic. I will probably still increase squats by a small amount, considering I'm just getting back into it. Though I want to be a bit more aggressive, there is no reason for me to rush this.
Will be having my first session tonight.
I guess it will take me awhile before I'm able to say I'm "lifting some ****." I have a lot of time though.SFW

It was nice to have a "real" workout after all of that time off. I'm looking forward to making some definite progress in the weeks to come. The only thing I'm disappointed in was my weight loss. Guess it's time to bulk up again.SFW
