Thanks, Brett. I just realized last night that they are getting up there again. They're still light though, which is an even better thing. There is a lot of room to progress.

I've been waiting for this today. Haha. Squats look good. They may seem heavy now, but in a few weeks, you'll be warming up with that weight easy. . Keep it up and you'll be at 225 soon!!

Bench looks good too. Deadlifts look great. The extra warmup would probably be beneficial. Good luck and have a good rest this weekend. Have fun and be safe.

Everything looks great so far, CJ.

If it were me, I'd probably just do a single rep at 155. Just enough to get your body primed from the work set.

Thanks, PokLim. The squats were somewhat heavy, but then again they weren't. It just felt weird. I will continue to increase deadlift by 10 lbs each session, assuming I get all five reps.

Press was heavy, and I had to use a little back to get the last rep of the last set up. Power cleans took a lot of energy out of me, and form was off. This was a pretty lengthy workout.

They will keep getting tougher, as you are well aware.

Keep plugging away on those power cleans. I wouldn't hesitate to stick with a weight if there were form issues the first time.

I am fully aware of that. I think I will increase power cleans by 5 lbs, then worry about form. I want to do this because the collars always get in the way when I less than a 25 lb plate on the bar. I think I will read the Power Clean chapter in Starting Strength tonight.

Press was heavy, and I had to use a little back to get the last rep of the last set up. Power cleans took a lot of energy out of me, and form was off. This was a pretty lengthy workout.
You're getting closer to were you were CJ, excellent. Any tips on correct form for the deadlift?

Thanks, Johnny. I have Starting Strength right next to me, so what exactly do you need help with? I will look it up once I know what you are having trouble with.

Thanks CJ. How low do you have to drop the hips? How low do you usually drop them?

I'm not sure exactly how low they go, all I really worry about is setting my back before each rep.

Look at the front cover of Starting Strength for an example:

    85 x 5
    125 x 3
    145 x 2
    175 x 5
    175 x 5
    175 x 5

    BENCH PRESS:
    45 x 5
    45 x 5
    75 x 5
    115 x 5
    115 x 5
    115 x 5

    DEADLIFT:
    135 x 5
    175 x 2
    195 x 5

    WEIGH-IN:
    152.5 lbs

    COMMENTS:
I had to grind out squats, but form was decent throughout. Deadlifts weren't as fast as they have been, but I'm still going to go by 10 lb increments until I miss a rep, then I'll move to 5 lb increments.

someone beasted their workout. Good job on getting all the reps on all the sets. Squats look great. They'll keep getting harder and all you gotta do is push even harder and you'll get up to 2 plates on each side in no time..
