funny you say this, the article states it raised T levels and lowered Es levels at 2000 mg. I dont know if it increased it all by 50% but it increased none the less. so how did you come to this conclusion?
now, where can I buy some to try it out on my next pct too see how it raises T levels.NCSA-CPT

bump and keeping my post here to tag the thread.
I wonder if it'd have hormonal consequences if someone 21- took it ? o_O
If not it could be used similarly to a PH I suppose. Depending on the side effectsPersonal Journal

it might cause hormonal problems maybe if you used a strong A.I with it, lack of E with high levels of T may send a signal to your hpta to slow down production to try to balance it, it would be like a catch 22 since it increases T naturally, you would see a big boost at first, but then once your body notices the above normal levels it would slow down production, leading you to take more, and so on. this is of course just my hypothesis. makes sense to me. thats why ph/ps/ds/aas are able to work after shut down, they are an outside source of T or some form and dont need your hpta to produce T to work. who knows what the answer is, we'll have to wait for a long term study to come out, if ever one does.

True, I just like debating issues like this :P
One thing you'd wonder though... If it increases T levels, I bet they would have found a way to prevent down regulation, or else they'd end up giving out HORRENDOUS doses of this stuff to people to try to keep up with long term dosages. I'd find it a tad absurd if they were giving out T boosting meds, and saying. Take it for 1 week, every 3 weeks to prevent downregulation. Wouldn't the hormone spiking/dropping cause problems on its own?Personal Journal

for normal people it would. but if it was a "medication" as you put it, it would be for people who have low T production, or some other problem where they need the positive effects of T. If it was over the counter, well, heh, look at any other herbal T booster, they all do the same thing. lol.

I found this site when I googled mytosterone... these are the people that created it.
http://www.triarco.com/news.asp
It's got a link to the mytosterone study on there too. It will increase testosterone without the usual effects (like estrogen levels going up too, hair loss, etc.). Looks really interesting, anyone tried it?Last edited by runfgio; 10-08-2008 at 06:47 AM.

If you look at the ingredients of Muscletech's Cryotest you will see they have used Mytosterone in the formula without referencing the trademarked ingredients.
Keep an eye open for Serenoa Repens & Haematococcus Pluvialis extract (Astaxanthin).

Lol, at least you will keep your hairline in tact.
Seems almost counter productive to reduce DHT while claiming to increase testosterone, as DHT tends to be a more potent androgen than testosterone itself, usually as much as 3-5 times more potent. Test is converted to the active androgen DHT by enzyme 5alpha reductase (5-AR), which in turn seems couterproductive to me depending on how much of a hit DHT levels take in the 1st place from supplementing with this compound.
That being said.......makes me wonder.
It may be possible that testosterone levels increase because this compound MAY block that conversion from testosterone to DHT....hence the elevated Test and suppressed DHT levels.
Also, how would it effect free testosterone(if it does at all)
People see....INCREASE IN TESTOSTERONE and automatically think. That's great!!! But there are other questions that need to be answered. It is not as simple as....More Test=better gains.Last edited by Roun3er; 02-26-2009 at 07:37 AM.
