Sup desi brahs.
Anyone else hate Indians? My boy is Indian. And we talk **** about our own kind all the time.
beta
mommy issues
domestic violence (it's kinda sad how prevalent this is in Indian culture)
materialistic/consumer culture
shallow broads (all they want to do is go clubbin and shopping)
phonies abound
and Indians hate on Indians (yes ironic) like you see an Indian in public and they bertstare you for no reason. fuk is up with that?

I love India. I love the spiritual aspect of it (BRB hitting a chillum with a sadhu). I love the respect Indians have for animals. I love how we make **** work...anything from fixing up old ass appliances to fitting in millions of commuters into a transit system with a capacity for half that.
My post was just some issues I have with Indian culture. No need to take offense. Just wanted to discuss it with my desi brahs.

bold is me
indians in india are no more beta than you avg white american.
The ones you see here are mostly FOBs and are generally from very poor families. They're already pretty overwhelmed with a diff country and the added pressure of doing well economically takes them down. Indian born and raised here are very "normal" (of course I'm generalizing here)
I've lived in both countries. Strongly disagree. Indian men are extremely insecure. And it's not by their own fault. I think the conservative nature of the culture contributes to their ineffectiveness with modern women. Also, the notion of love/romance that Bollywood perpetuates doesn't help.
We love our parents brah and I don't think I need to do the comparison between how western society treats their parents and how we do ...
This such a bogus argument Indians pull out. Just because Indians families live together for life doesn't mean the relationship between children and parents is a healthy one. The whole extended family living together thing is not conducive for a happy home life. I know too many families that have some deep issues simply because they lack perspective. And you can't have that when there are bhabis and what not living in such close quarters. It's all drama and backstabbing.
I've seen families disintegrate from the drama man.
My parents want to be independent. God bless them. They see no point in making themselves a headache for their children. That's love.
Now this I agree with but IMO you can't blame Indian culture for this as it's a problem prevalent in most of 3rd world countries, and you'll probably be surprised at the stats of domestic violence in u.s
LOL no. The stats in the US are probably higher but that's because women are encouraged to report that ****. Not just be quiet and get knocked around by their husbands like in India. Nobody even talks about domestic violence in India. The women just endure it without any means to deal with it.
Yes people are more greedy because most of them are poor as fuk and also because you can't just sit on your fat ass and get welfare checks there, so it's pretty much a "bloodshed for the next piece of bread" kind of thing. If you're lazy either you're poor as fuk or you die, as simple as that (srs)
Good point. I agree. Although you see rampant materialism in the middle and upper class as well. BRB building a million dollar tower in the middle of a slum
lol no offense brah but you need to step up your dating game if you think indian bishes are materialistic. MOST of women are like that
True. But there are far fewer REAL desi chicks in my experience. They just don't seem to give a fuk about anything not dealing with shopping, money, career, cars, jewelry, shoes, food, perfume, prada bags, fitting in.
lol wat
Indians have a tendency to be fake.
I agree we need to bond more together, but every indian person thinks that somehow he's better than the indian next to him. Next time an "indian" bertstares at you go and talk to him, most are pretty chill brah
Indians have an extremely competitive mentality.

I love the Indian railway system. It's the first thing I want to do when I'm in India. Watch vids on youtube all the time.
I love the train stations. The sights, sounds, smells. The chai vendors. The hustle and bustle. The random sweet fruits.
Fuk I want to be riding on a train right now. The clickity clack sound.
Even hanging out of the door with, wind in your hair.
I ride sleeper class. Fuk the AC compartment.
Here's a little tidbit about the Indian railways- it's the largest employer of any sort. Huge economic impact on India.

As long as you don't go during peak hours it's a fun experience. I did go during peak times and it was insane. Packed in like sardines. But the cool thing about it is that everyone is chill about the whole thing.
And even if you don't consider it fun, the trains are definitely the cheapest and most convenient way to get around Mumbai.

People who are not local to mumbai find it impossible to board the local mumbai trains during peak hours.
- brb, catching the local at churchgate before the train stops at the station to get a seat
- brb, working in Grant Road, taking a return from churchgate to go to Western Suburbia
- brb, if you live in andheri GTFO a virar local (not passible to get off brah)
Those interstate trains are still gj (especially the western railway)
