Been very busy at home and at work, so haven't made it to the gym in what seems like forever. With the long heatwave, I haven't been on the bike at all either. Way behind schedule. The bad knee is still pretty banged up, and even the good knee hurts from favoring the other. I need a new everything below the neck.

Not too bad. Nothing great, but considering my recent alcohol consumption, I'm surprised I could move anything at all. Not to mention this heat. Just brutal. Thankful for pools and the new A/C units. Saving my life.
MTB:
Finally got back on the bike after a little hiatus. As luck would have it, I started back up on the two hottest days of the year. Mid 90s even at 8-9am. Did GR the first day, and OV the next. Too hot to wear a man-diaper. My taint is killing me.1305 combined total in the Big Three @ 225 bodyweight

Weights feel really heavy. Was feeling completely gassed the other day riding the bike. Not sick, but seem to be low on energy. Erratic sleep, atrocious alcohol consumption, and nothing even resembling healthy eating. Its all catching up with me.1305 combined total in the Big Three @ 225 bodyweight

Still super tired. New baby girl isn't sleeping more than a couple hours at a clip overnight, so my broken sleep is starting to take its toll. Still, it feels good to get my ass in the gym here and there. Not too bad. Still not able to sleep much with the baby, but at least I feel largely functional these days. Tried to do cable flys, and immediatly felt pain on the side of my upper arm. Same twinge I feel when benching. Ive been able to work around it mostly on bench, but no avoiding it on flys. Bummer.1305 combined total in the Big Three @ 225 bodyweight

Fighting a mild cold, but its barely there. I got lucky, my wife and kids got hammered by it. Anyway, feeling a little stronger, but a LOT heavier. Damn. Back up to 225 pounds. Definitely carrying some pregnancy weight. Been eating like crazy non stop to make up for lost sleep. Not riding or getting to the gym as much. Its certainly adding to the mid section.1305 combined total in the Big Three @ 225 bodyweight

Holy hell, back at 227! Eek! Feeling a little stronger, but I cant believe how much weight I'm gaining recently. Crazy. I dont see like I'm eating much more, but I certainly havent been riding the bike as much. Trying to change that, and will start riding the smart trainer a bit more often when I cant get out for a proper bike ride.1305 combined total in the Big Three @ 225 bodyweight

Still really, really heavy. Feeling it too. Been riding the smart trainer every single night, yet the weight persists. My sleep isnt horrible, either. Maybe its the reduction in stress now that the baby has safely arrived? Who knows. Gonna keep hitting the trainer nightly to try to regain some lost ground on the bike. All my slow friends are way faster than I am these days.1305 combined total in the Big Three @ 225 bodyweight

Not bad, feeling tired, but not totally destroyed. Overall, pretty good. Been riding every single day, 12 days straight so far. That's taking its toll on energy levels, but all things considered, not too bad.1305 combined total in the Big Three @ 225 bodyweight

BOOOOOOOO
My GYM has closed.
The gym was supposed to be closed for renovations from Dec 24 through Jan 20. I took a drive by last week, expecting it to be open. Inside they were in various states of disrepair, but no signs of life. Ladders were left in place, but the lights were off and place was empty. Phone is still disconnected. I guess thats the end of that.
Without any affordable gyms close enough to my job, I'm forced to get back to working out at home.1305 combined total in the Big Three @ 225 bodyweight

Just dragging all the equipment out of hibernation. Everything needs cleaning and lube. The smith glides are especially gummed up and sticky. Hopefully this eases soon.1305 combined total in the Big Three @ 225 bodyweight

Second home gym workout. Not great but not bad. Moved a ton of stuff around, and the new layout is much better. Ordered up some 60 and 90 lb dumbbells, so I'm excited to get those in. I also want to grab some pro-style handles and make some 120s out of the existing 1-inch plates I have.1305 combined total in the Big Three @ 225 bodyweight

Not a bad little workout. Got the 60lb DBs in, but still waiting on the 90s. Making up for it with reps where I can. Even after silicone spray, the smith glides are VERY sticky. Gotta figure something out for that, its pretty unmanageable. Sucks that the home equipment is so flimsy compared to commercial gym equipment, but Ill do what I can with what Ive got.1305 combined total in the Big Three @ 225 bodyweight

Not bad again. Still under the weather. Got one 90lb DB in, but the second box contained a bottle of hand lotion instead of a 90 lb DB. Hopefully the replacement comes soon.1305 combined total in the Big Three @ 225 bodyweight

Home workouts are getting better. Still have this cold, its just incredible how long this is lasting. No escape. Still waiting for a resolution regarding my second 90lb DB, so until the new one arrives, I'm stuck with only one.1305 combined total in the Big Three @ 225 bodyweight
