Guys,
I have been researching these two supplements recently and was wondering if there would be any real reason to take one or both if i am very regular, do not experience gi distress after eating, and don't have any flat. issues?
any help greatly appreciated

Since you have no issues,i dont see a great reason to take them..I used to bloat up quite bad after meals, and they help me a lot ! Then again maybe they can help you a little bit for absorbing protein better, considering they (digestive enzymes) have papain in them...Probiotics are very good for general health .

i use some from wal-mart that has the whole range of enzymes plus acidolphilus and it works wonders for me. i've noticed better energy after meals, no-less bloating and real good poopies the next day(Lol!) it's rexall brand in a purple bottle. it says take 2 with each meal but i only take 1 with each cause i eat 6-7 times a day.

Any probiotic is better then not using on IMO but Gut Health is supposed to be for protein breakdown and what not. There are super enzymes that help with everything, just look around and see which appeals to you. Or if you use a multi-vitamin you could switch that to Orange Triad or MHP Activite since these already have digestive enzymes in them.

Be careful with buying probiotics because some are damaged through processing, heat, and light and some need to be refrigerated.
Enteric coating seems to be beneficial with probiotics.
I just came across this one that seems decent: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/now/gr8.html
IMO they (probiotics and digestive enzymes) are not really necessary but really neither is cadio and/or weight training. We do a lot of things that are not necessary but are beneficial in achieving better health.

I ended up going with Udo's digestive enzymes and Udo's probiotic. Based on how much I love Udo's 3-6-9, I felt I could trust these additional products.
However, I experienced a very, very mild stomach ache for the majority of the day yesterday. Is this pretty normal on the first day of starting a probiotic?Kaged and Nutrabio
