You're a 90's kid if:
-You can sing the rap to "The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air"
-You've related your life to "Boy Meets World"
-You Remember TGIF on Friday nights.
-You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons.
-You fapped to one of the female "Full House" members
-You remember reading "Goosebumps"
-You know the profound meaning of "Wax on, wax off"
-You remember the craze, then the banning of slap bracelets and slam books.
-You Remember the Power Rangers and fought about who was the Red Ranger with friends.
-You remember when nintendo came out and the super nintendo/Genesis rivalry.
-You remember watching home alone 1 and tried to pull the pranks on "intruders"
-You only listen to Old Rock, Rap or Reggae.
-"I've fallen and I can't get up"- Family Matters
-You remember boom boxes, and the pain of getting things copied on tape cassette, then when cd players came out it was like some alien technology.
-You knew all the characters names and their life stories on "Saved By The Bell"
-Girls at your age loved Dawson's Creek
-Jerry Springer was the thing to talk about when it first came out
-You played and/or collected "Pogs" or marbles
-You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet or Nano and brought it everywhere
-You watched the original Care Bears and Ninja Turtles
-You remember when Wrestling was good
- If any of these ring a bell: Hey Arnold, Rugrats, The Secret World of Alex Mac, SPACE CASES, Rocco's Modern Life, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Doug, Magic School Bus, Aladdin, Beavis & Butt-Head, Bill Nye the Science Guy, MR RODGERS!!!!
-You've gotten creeped out by "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"
-You know the Macarena by heart.
-You remember watching morning cartoons then waiting to come home to see if Pinky and the Brain would finally take over the world.
-You remember when everyone went slinky crazy.
-Before the Internet & text messaging pagers were cool!
...Back when you put off the 5 hours of homework you had every night.
-When light up sneakers were cool.
-When you rented VHS tapes
-When gas was $0.95 a gallon & Caller ID was a new thing.
-When we recorded stuff on VCRs
-When we called the radio station to request songs to hear off our walkmans.
-When the Chicago Bulls were the best team ever and the Knicks were still good.
Games for outside were:
-SPUD
-Manhunt
-Hide-n-Go Seek at dusk.
-Red Light, Green Light.
-Heads Up or 7 Up.
-Playing Kickball & Dodgeball, Baseball, Basketball until it was too dark to see.
-Going out of sight of your house with your friends was far and a daring thing to do.
-Tree Houses.
-Hula Hoops.
Or what about:
-Praying for a Class field trips.
-When Christmas was the most exciting time of year.
-When $5 seemed like a million, & another dollar a miracle.
-When you begged to go to McDonalds for dinner everyday.
-When Toys R Us overuled the mall.
I think back on all of this and 2 things come to mind, the first is damn I'm getting old because this was about 15 years ago for me. The second is WTF do the young kids today do for fun, TV sucks, no cartoons worth watching and Its not safe to play outside anymore due to rising rate of violence in the country. Its sad because it seems that kids of today are loosing their innocence very young, their missing out on the best times of their lives.
Please Post your memory of growing up in the 90's and why the 90's was the best, pics appreciated.

I feel like I'm growing up, getting old. I'm in college, next thing I know I'll have a career, a wife, a family. It brings a tear to me eye thinking about just sitting at home happy watching cartoons with my family, renting a movie, playing N64 with my dad, being a kid in general. I wish those days would have never ended.

"Talk to the hand" ... enough said
You thought Brain would finally take over the world
You always said, "Then why don't you marry it!"
You remember when everyone went slinky crazy.
You remember when razor scooters were cool.
You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence...Not...
Where in the world is Carmen San Diego? was both a game and a TV game show.
You know the profound meaning of "Wax on, wax off""Audentes fortuna iuvat" - Virgil

If you were born in the 90's you cant say you "grew up in the 90's". That is just silly.
