Just installed it. So far I am really impressed. It is a really good web browser and really fast. Here is a link for the download: http://www.google.com/chrome
Don't check the box that lets google track where you have been, it is not required to use chrome so what you do is none of their business.
Oh, it has a built in spell checker! Me like so far.

I like it, but they can pry my Firefox extensions from my cold, dead hands.
One thing about Chrome that is cool is that you can hit shift-esc and see a task list of your tabs. If one tabs hangs it is a separate process that can be killed without killing the other tabs. There will come a day when I tire of listening to 80's music. That day is not today.

I installed it on my test machine at home (the one I don't mind mucking up) but I enjoy Firefox to much and their added extentions so I won't be switching.
But, I have to admit that it's as slick little program so far and seems way better then IE, but Firefox still blows it out of the water (and yes I know that firefox has been around for years :>)djl_ottawa

With Firefox if you have to unexpectedly close your tabs it asks you next time you open the program if you want your previous session restored and it brings it back for you. Also in firefox if you're typing and your browser closes accidentally or your computer shuts down (mine does from overheating, it needs cleaning :/ ) then when you open your browser again it brings back what you typed even though it wasn't saved so you don't have to retype it! I don't think there is any browser out there that can beat Firefox.

There are a couple of things I have noticed but nothing major so far. When I click on the link to give someone rep points instead of a nice drop down, it just goes to a separate page. Same with clicking on someones username. No big deal just a difference I have noticed.
With chrome it keeps track of your most visited pages and when you open a new tab they are on your display, just click and go. I like that feature.
Firefox is a great browser, no doubt about that. They have come a long way since the beginning.

I read on one of the news stories about it yesterday that supposedly you can use it with all the Google apps, essentially making Microsoft's bloated OS obsolete. I don't know how much stock I put in that statement. I'm just reporting what I read.
