Aight some pics of my mini home gym, hope it helps others who have the same issues I had.
The trick was fitting an extremely tiny unit, where there's no space for stuff to be lying around.
• Standard weight rack to hold mixed standard & olympic weight plates.
• The weight rack had to be stored in the bedroom, so used heavy duty turp cover to help keep the sulphur stench of the rubber.
• The mats were sliced 2x100x100cm meter mats, to 2x80x70cm + 2x30x100cm. (more exercise flexibility + easier to store & move around)
• 3rd pic shows process I've used to cut the rubber mats, using special jigsaw blades to give a straight clean slice.
• Bench with low headroom for storage (will probably upgrade to an adjustable/foldable one)
• Removable Pullup-Bar, last pic shows replacing those dodgy grips (more in this thread)

My new little sub 200sq ft room. The room is attached to our master bedroom. My goal was to fit the most versatile pieces in it while leaving enough floor space to move around and perform DLs etc. Two can comfortably lift in the room. Also, the rack has half rack spotters and J cups on the outside so two can potentially use the rack.
-EliteFTS red & black BYO 3x3 with dip, extra half rack spotter arms, QR and rod/ pipe, extra J hooks, monkey bars, band pegs, BWTG belt squat attachments, step up platform
-EliteFTS adjustable bench (red)
-Legend 4-way bench (black)
-Pro-Elite lat-low row (black & red) with 250 stack (up to 280lbs with adder & platemates on)
-Legend DB rack with pro dumbbells up to 128lb w/ platemates (40-120 in 10lb increments, various platemates to fill the 2.5 and 5lb gaps), 5-25 are hex rubber. Also have Olympic DB and DB row handles for heavier weight.
-Bodycraft hip sled, have a 48" 1.5 thick steel rod that slides into the weight holder and allows for additional plates (rubber plates are thick)
-OBB floor GHD (love this space saving GHD)
-Assortment of 15 bars (TPB, Troy, Cap OB86, bunch of BWTG bars like cambered and swiss, EliteFTS Safety squat, etc, BWTG righteous handles for grappler)
-1300 lbs rubber CAP plates (incl. 18 45s)
-390 lbs of bumpers (VTX red 45s & black 25/35 plates)
-Folding Life Span treadmill
-Other goodies: BWTG grappler, landmine, squat box, chains, handles, ton of pulley attachments (wall mounted on black metal peg boards), barbell jack,.....etc. EliteFTS weighted balls up to 30lbs
-12ft wide one piece mirror, stall mats, black flush mounted ceiling fan, wall mounted 32" LED, B&W Zeppelin/ipod. The room is 10ft tall.Last edited by BAVE; 05-02-2013 at 11:36 AM.

This was hard to get to this point, I had help yesterday and I'm still worn out!
I still need to figure out how to get the shed door open with the horse mats in the way. I'm probably going to cut away some of the bottom and put some kind of sloped wooden stop in front to keep the rain out of the bottom. At least I think that's what I'll do
I still need to redo some of the shingles I'm using as spacers underneath the mats but that won't be hard since they are in place.
Eventually this will make it to the back but I need a roof to keep it good according to the manufacturer. But otherwise its ok to sit outside.
I keep my weight sled by the front door inside, since I use it on the road. The yard is too lumpy and not long enough.▪█───────█▪ Equipment Crew #46 ▪█───────█▪
