I am 87 days out from the NPC Mid West in St. Louis Missouri March 19th 2011. Its an all Novice show.

Hi everyone! My name is Romney! I'm finally training for my first figure show.. After 13 years of debating and battling with my weight! I'm 12 weeks out from Oklahoma's Battle of the Bodies in Tulsa, OK on May 7th, 2011!

I have no idea what my contest weight is but definitely need to do some shedding! I'm guessing around 115-120? I'm 134 right now at 5'4!

I am doing the Vancouver again in 5 weeks as a "re"-qualifier to the USAs in Vegas this July or I might do Washington State Natural and go the IFPA route. Both are on the same day... decisions, decisions

Being the small guy I am and after dieting since the end of November, my trainer suggested I do the physique division. Very last minute decision, but decided I'm going to do it. Any input about it? I really don't know much info, but I'm heading to Detroit for a show to take some notes and whatnot this weekend.

I'm about 220 rt now and in the process of getting three pre cancerous lesions excised from my back over the next couple months. I am competeing in Men's Physique as well in July. There isn't any posing like bodybuilding, we will simply be doing quarter turns. That being said the front, side and back pose is important. Some work is a good idea in order to have those basic poses down. Preping for a new division like this has it's challenges for sure. It doesn't seem like anyone truly knows what the goal is as far as the proper look. If anyone out there has more feedback I'd love to hear it. My trainer has a basic prep of maintaining mass but cutting BF down to around 6-7%. Trying to come in as lean as possible with the best V taper I can get.

Planning my first figure contest for November 2011 - the NPC Eastern. I've been warned it's a tough show, but that just makes it more of a challenge

Hi everyone, my name is Tyler and I plan on competing in the Washington Ironman on September 24, 2011. This is my 6th show and I intend to win it. I have been competing for 4 years now and got into the best condition of my life for the NPC Vancouver Natural on April 2, 2011 this year. I followed Skips Ultimate Bodybuilding Contest Prep and was able to get incredibly shredded. Unfortunately I only got 5th out of 12 for the open light-heavyweights. I would like to qualify for Team U next year and will hopefully do it at this show. Can't wait to hear everyone's goals.

Hello Everyone its been a little while. For those of you who remember me from the 3rd place 2010 Michigan Prep. I took last year off to put some additional size on which worked out well for me. So I'm going to start training for the 2012 Michigan right after thanksgiving. Also for those of you that remember...My body weight was very high going into my cut diet for the 2010 show. This time I managed to keep my weight down all year right around 225 / 228 very happy for that one. Sse you guys on the boards...I will be posting all my progress up to show day.

First time I've posted in a VERY long time. I'll be competing at the OKC Gran Prix on Oct 29th in the Physique category. This will be my first contest. If everything goes right I'll be 5'5" 165-170lbs and about 7% BF.
