    House Party 21: Ketosis

Second day of a ketosis diet...I'm fairly sure I'm nearly in ketosis (brain fog, bad breath, feeling like crap, craving carbs). However, I'm really looking forward to the fat loss.

Anyways, male, 5'9", 221 lbs (as of sunday), target weight 180 lbs. Timeframe: 16 weeks (Christmas, or earlier if possible =D )

I'll start posting my food logs from yesterday and today when I feel less crappy.

Thanks, but isn't 5-htp a precursor to serotonin? As such, won't it take a while to kick in (and may be of minimal use, as I've heard that only the first few days are bad)?

correct it is a pre-cursor... I use it since I tend to get short fused when I drop carbs, and it usually only takes a few days to kick in. It seems to help with the carb cravings. It may or may not work for u, but its something to try. It could take a week for u to get into keto, hopefully sooner.

Oh, and as always, advice/help/complaints are always appreciated (the first two more than the last, though >_> )

Holy *$#%. I think I've entered ketosis, since I had a cup of tea about an hour ago and am completely wired. I have never in my life been this wired before.
