    As for me, I do not really have anything planned as far as cheat meals go. I like to keep my diet strict so I can leave an 'allowance for unexpected cheats'.

    For example, I ran into an old friend last night and went out to quite a few drinks and a greasy dinner.

    This happens at a rate of 1-2 meals a week for me.

    In theory, cheat meals keep you from hitting a wall during weight loss and I'm rationalizing with fact that this should help me in the long run.

    id say 2-3 times a week, but my "cheat" meals are never horrific like fast food. maybe like sushi or a salad w/fattening dressing. on RARE occasions mexican food but w/out sour cream or flour tortillas.

    i usually cheat every sunday, and that cheat meal consists of a pb sandwhich on whole grain/wheat bread and natty pb, so its not really considered a cheat meal to alot, but to me it is, lol.

    the only time i've cheated in the past month was 3 days ago

    I had 20 bux worth of sushi (california rolls) which came out to about 500 calories. The worst thing about it was about 5 grams of saturated fat.

    is this even a cheat? lol, i dunno, but it tasted good

    Usually planned- I find they are more satisfying that way. Tonight I had about a half of a baked artichoke and spinach Quiche.... SOOO bomb. (around 500 kcal).

    But, I was still probably under my BMR as I didnt have a whole lot of time to eat today and I slept in late =D

    I'm gonna start doing cheat meals about once every 2 weeks. Just had my firsr big cheat meal yesterday after 2 months of clean eating, super fries (fries with a crap load of cheese, sour cream, carne asada guacamoli and bunch of other stuff) and then later I went to a Hawaiian barbecue resturant and pigged out there too.





    Next morning I noticed that I looked ALOT leaner than regular and saw more definition in my abdominal area. I could tell because I look at myself in the morning every day LOL. I'm gonna check at the gym tomorrow how much pounds I actually loss

    I dont have cheat meals. I just have small things every day like a couple of sweets or I use coffee whitener which is full of sugar, or an ice cream some days in summer when it's hot.
    I'd rather do this than be stressing all week about not eating anything non-clean.
    I just eat clean when I can but when I'm out or dont have time, I dont worry about how I haven't ate every 3 hours or how I havent had that extra 25g of protein..

    x2. I hate the term "cheat meal". I just eat something special but still healthy. My fav is to go to my favorite Thai restaurant for a plate of Chicken Drunken Noodles (spicy Pad Thai) & the chef will steam everything for me, hard boil the eggs & back off on the red chili sauce. Aside from being a carb bruhaha (I always have a KILLER workout the next day...LOL) & some sodium its very clean.

    almost always planned, I have planned to go off my diet as a whole for a good month right now for psychological reasons. If I'm on a dedicated diet I never cheat, I usually cycle calories so things like high carb days feel like a cheat to me.

    If you're on a good diet and your physically active enough, you can get away with a large cheat meal every single weekend and still get great results. You may have trouble once you hit the lower body fat marks continuing to make progress using this protocol though. (i.e. trying to drop from 6% to 4%)

    lately, more than i should. i had to take a week and a half off of the gym because of a pinched nerve. with the pain i didn't wanna go out on the weekends at all, so i'd be sitting at home a lot. fell off a bit. getting over the pain though and tightening the diet back up.
