Hey guys. I know how all of us homegym owners love to talk about what equipment we recently bought or sold on craigslist and some of the bogus deals out there. I am making this thread so that we can all come here to discuss the homegym owner's HEAVEN which is what craigslist is to most of us looking for some good deals around here.
So post links to your recent craiglist scores here or for questions on potential buys etc.
This is not a sales thread. Do not list items you're trying to sell.

And just to get things started. Here is DD's most recent score for this month.
http://austin.craigslist.org/spo/764781313.html
Just picked up these babies today from a young woman who lives in kyle, texas.(a few miles outside of austin proper) She said she had been trying to sell these items in a garage sale for some time but nobody knew what the bar was for. I saw her ad within minutes of it popping up on cl last night and jumped on it like flys on you know the rest.
Score one for the chocolate good guy.

Hmph.......my deals have went south this last couple of weeks so I grudgingly say....Nice Snag!!!!
I thought my $40 mega shrug bar was nice (and it was), but I got no weights with it.
This is a deal that should even get Ferrum's attention.

Sure Tetsu. This wasn't a new deal though, it was one I got at the beginning of June and I already had a thread on it....didn't want to be trying to one up DD with an old deal
You can see it here though:http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=108394501
I can get a new pick if you want, but its a sweet bar. Almost too big for my girly hands...but I'll manageLast edited by Keetman; 07-22-2008 at 01:54 PM. Reason: Because I'm fairly dumb and didn't know the difference betwn too & two.

Thanks tetsu. Though I still have not purchased those talons yet? But I change trap bars like I change drawz so I've had pretty much every make an model under the sun including the mega trap bar, regular trap bar, double handled trap bar, narrower hex bar, and half shrug bar.
So it's not like a needed this old school version or anything but I just couldn't look past the price. I will most likely sell it and the plates to make a decent profit. Though if I had those talons I could use it in my rack and it would be a real good accessory for my lifting.

Yeah a rack-able trap bar has many uses and i'm sure a man of your innovative thinking style would have a thousand uses for it when set to various heights.
I've recently got some gymnastic rings and the amount of new stuff I can do with them and a rack is incredible.
I'm just in the process of getting some kettle bells but we wont mention the cost here..... I'm getting a 17th forge blacksmith to make them by hand.... and then send them from Scotland....

Daaaammmmmmmmm Brah....you wack!! That Pblock is the shizzizzle!
I really don't even know what I just said to be honest.
However, the powerblock bench is holding up nicely, I have no doubt my boys are going to get some use out of it in their teens and they're both toddlers right now!
I still think you secretly hate it though.
