Is it a hard process I want to try out for FSU as a walk on for linebacker.
I'm pretty huge and fast.
I wanted to know what routines they put you throught during tryouts and how to excel at them.

I probably wont walk on to any program. My brother was a HS All-American lineman. 6'5'' 265 in high school. He was the second fastest lineman in the state at 4.7 40 and also bench pressed over 400lbs right infront of Joe Paterno (SP) at PSU. I cant remember what drills they did for him at the combine's, its been several years since then. My other brother was a fullback for Angelo state at well in the mid 200's and was a HS sprinter.

Even though these are for NFL prospects I am sure it wouldn't hurt to go down the list and practice each one. You need acrobat reader. http://www.parisischool.com/download...FL_combine.pdf

they tested me with 225 at the time i did 34 times also could bench over 400 in high school all naturally they test agility and stuff like that as well
34 times really I would like you to prove this. Reggie White did this 39 times in top condition and he could max over 500 pounds. I really don't think you did it 34 times........... sounds a lotta bloated to me.Bench: 280
Squat: 440
Power Clean: 260
Deadlift: 510

I play ball right now and let me tell you that if you want to succeed, get noticed, play, or whatever the most important thing is speed. Strength is great but speed is scary. Speed dominates games. Speed wins games. Don't get me wrong you have to have some sort of football talent but if you have great speed along with that little bit of talent. I'll see you on Saturdays and possibly Sundays.

i'm an actual walk on at FSU
all they do is test your forty time thats it...the first day of classes there is a meeting where they explain the whole process and talk to you...they base you ability on your size and how fast you are. you have to have all you clearinghouse papers in and a physical form filled out by the trainer before you even see the field to run on it so take care of that first

Listen I'm one of the top prospects in the state of Hawaii, you won't see my name in Rival 100, b/c i didn't registar. all the college football camps that I went to last year (University of Redlands, U of Colorado, UH, Menlo, and many speed and strength camps. Most of the time it works like this: 40' time, 185 bench test, vertical jump, and a pro-agility run.

It was a university of hawaii speed and development camp, it was called Rick Milano's speed camp. It was for all the HS players on the Island. Try doing a search, i know for a fact that they have a lot of camps out there. Also for football camps, go to the ASC football camps ,I felt I learned the most there. Go to ascfootballcamp.com for more info. I know speedquest.com has some camps.
