- 2nd set: still hard... but easier than 1st set

3 sets x 20 situps/crunches:
- 1st set: could barely do 7
- 2nd set: better than 1st
- 3rd set: no problem!!Last edited by Korry1; 07-21-2008 at 06:02 PM.

Good Morning! Wednesday, July 23, 2008
GYM AM:
Treadmill: Walk/Jog 25 mins
Scivation Xtend + Endurolytes taken during walk/jog
Avg HR 120s-140s
Speed: 3.0 mph - 4.0 mph with one 5.0 mpg jog interval for 1 min 30 sec
--------
Commments:
Well, I am going low intensity right now, but I rather go a little higher on the intensity... I think the Xtend should cover any "muscle breakdown for fuel" fears.

The ones from Mickey D's
The 'Value Menu' Double Cheeseburgers from McDonalds, I think, caused a severe itchy rash... dont know what they put in them... lol...
after I stopped eating them... and upped my water intake for a min of 1 gallon, plus added Morton's Lite Salt (has potassium and a little magnesium) I felt a lot better...
looks like the rash is resolving (good news)... (lasted a week)
at any rate... never going back to McDonalds Cheeseburgers again... unless there is no other choice...

Wow, just wow...
According to a CKD calculator...
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...eto+calculator
I have been underestimating my calories...
I should be at 2400 calories, instead of 2000-2200...
thats ok with me... lol... I dont mind the additional food

My workout was great!
did 1 set at my usual weight, then next 2 sets I had increased the weight... felt great and strong.. (if I actually post the numbers, you guys would probably laugh... yes, I am/was weak... lol)
and did
afterwards...
LISS 45 min Treadmill...
-Kept hr around 120s-130s
-Speed: 3.0 mph...
-Various Inclines: 1.0 for the 95% of time
dont know if was the heavy whipping cream or what... but definitely MCTs for the win!
Also, Scivation Xtend + Endurolytes was taken during this session...
EDIT: I am keeping a workout log offline, however...Last edited by Korry1; 07-25-2008 at 05:00 PM.

wow, looks like that chopped salad (w/o bacon, red vinagrette... sub'd for blue cheese dressing) at Grand Lux Restaurant had some hidden carbs.... oh well... went to the gym this morning...
wow...
took my usual ECa and 1 tbsp of heavy cream pre cardio this morning...
went for cardio for 1 hour... (cooldown for additonal 5 mins)
2.0 Incline at 3.5 mph <------------ and my hr was still low... (120s)
(to put this in perspective, this was very hard for me almost 2 months ago!)
eventually I got to 4.0 Incline at 3.5 mph..... and a short burst of 5.0 Incline at 7.0 mph (which got my HR to 170s) for about 60 secs... lol... after that was a nice cool down of 5 minutes.
I have experienced energy with the ECa, but the combo of heavy cream was very effective... at least for me...
I believe heavy cream is a MCT, which you know has thermogenic properties and faster digested and/or faster metabolized by the body
