and they smell pretty bad - kinda like manure almost. Does the smell go away eventually? Cuz my dad's whining like a bitch and won't let me bring them down from the garage into the basement cuz of the smell. But it only smell bad if your nose is like 2 inches away from it. So is it permanent or does it fade away?

no, they were brand new. $42 each too. The store leaves them outside, so that might explain the smell... they were definitely new though. But they didn't really look like the picture from the site it wasn't really diamond plated, more like dotted looking.

Yes they stink when new, leave them outside for a few weeks (open, flat, not rolled up or the smell wont go away)
Mine really stunk, I almost moved them back outside but they were too heavy, LOL.[]---[] Equipment Crew #6 []---[]

LOL, dont call your Dad a biatch, he probably drove you to the store and paid for them right? They are rubber barn stalls made specifically for horses and cows to piss and ****e on all day, LOL, I wouldnt want them in my house either if they still stank like horse ****e, LOL. Bring them in in a week or so.

Ok, so brought them down like two weeks ago and still stank horribly. It's stinking up my newly finished basement, and my dad's mad. Anyone know if air purifiers work well to clean the odor? I couldn't keep them unstacked when they were in the garage cuz my dad said it didn't matter, and I didn't wanna argue cuz he'd definitely get mad, so now one of them still smells really bad and the other one is bad, but bearable. So air purifier, or do those odor removing products work well?

I dont know about a product to eliminate/mask the odor...its kind of the natural emission from the rubber. If your Dad is mad maybe just cover it up with something like cardboard or carpet for the time being when you arent using them. Or bring them back outside and throw them on the lawn and wash them down with soap for another week or so. That might help.
Mine still faintly smells like rubber and theyre about 5 months old.

well what u want to do is get some fairy liquid and fabric cleaner and give them a realy good wash and hose them ! then leave them to dry out in the open in the heat ! and just keep doing it until the smell goes away !
you wouldnt put the wrong fuel in your car ?
