Does anyone have any pictures of know what i am talking about. I think the muscle is called the soleus. For example, i THINK Layne Norton has it so his calves don't pop out as much.

Actually having a thick soleus still makes your calves bigger. From what I understand, especialy width wise...so having a big soleus will make your calves look more impressive from the front views since you'll see them pop out on the sides of the shin. WHereas the gatrocnemius is more of a thickness muscle that makes the calves more impressive from the rear views.
I could be wrong, but I think that's how it goes.
