    Protein...how many scoops do you use per day?

    I weigh 165 pounds. I know the whole 1.25-1.50 grams of protein per pd of body weight thing, but I am wondering how many scoops of protein you use per day (assuming each scoop is 22-25 g).

    I currently hit the scoop 5 to 6 time throughout the day. You?

    1 on non lifting days 2-3 on lifting days.

    i normally use 3 a day.. i weight 150 but i eat 6 meals a day, and i dont always use them as shakes
    1 in the morning
    1 after workout
    1 about 1hr befor bed

    wow 5-6 ? ?

    I do 3 or so. 5 seems excessive over real food, trade out 2 of those for a can of tuna.

    Like I said, I weigh about 160-162 and think I'm around 16-17% bf. I would like to drop to 10-12% in by mid September. I am just wondering if that many shakes is helping or hurting. I want to lose as little muscle as possible.

    1 casein, 4 whey thats about 125 grams from shakes...kinda high

    but then I do get another 275 from food...
