but he makes up for it by taking his opponents down. If Couture can capatalize on this he will win. It looks almost impossible to stop Lesnar's takedowns.

We havent really seen Lesnar fight anyone with good takedown defense. I think he will hve to do a lot of work to get takedowns on randy. Min su kim, Mir, and Health Herring are not exactly known to stop takedowns well.
With that said, I think Randy is almost just as likely to get a takedown via legsweep.

Randy by flying knee.

If you refer to a fighter who you've never met in real life as "my boy" as though their performance somehow reflects well on you for simply being a fan, you're a lame ass.

Lesnar is too strong and agile. He was a 300 pound acrobat for christ sake.
The moves he was able to pull in the WWE were just incredible and it will be a LONG time before another Lesnar makes their way into pro wrestling.
hes a one of a kind athletic freak. I think hes too much for Couture to handle, especially since Couture isnt a true heavyweight.

I can't see Lesnar having too many issues getting Randy down and i don't know how anyone can talk about Lesnar's standup after 3 fights, the 1st fight we didn't see anything, the second fight, Lesnar knocked Mir on his arse and in the third fight, Lesnar knocked Herring on his arse with a single punch.

u mad your hero would die of a broken spine if he tried a shooting star press? you need to do your homework.
lesnar pulled some stunts in the WWE that will never be seen again, ever. hes one of a kind. He did things that even a 100 pound gymnast couldnt do. and lesnar was 300 then.Last edited by YoungGunner24s; 09-23-2008 at 02:50 PM.

The results were fixed... the athleticism wasn't.
His point wasn't that he won in the WWE. If that were the point, it would be absurd. His point was that he's capable of athletic moves that other people his size aren't capable of. Whether he does those athletic feats in the WWE or anywhere else, they're still applicable."Believe in yourself. Believe in your own potential for greatness. Believe that you can change the world. It is something that is within each of us."

Why is his work in the World Wrestling Entertainment being discussed in the MMA section? That has nothing to do with the upcoming fight.
Lesnar did things a 100 pound gymnast couldn't do? LOL! Link, source, etc.
I forgot how they were known for their incredible chin and elite level striking.
Couture is 220 on a good day, if he eats 1 of those shots its probably over.Moved Squat, Bench, and Deadlift to Yoke, Log, and Stones.
