Probably a better forum for this than the misc.
Just got a new set of scales the other day for ?50 and just wondering if any one else has any opinions on it? My old set of scales says i'm 105kg, the new set says i'm 95kgs, then a moment later if i step back on the scales, i'm 105kgs, then when i step back on it again a minute later, i'm 98kgs. My bodyfat will fluctuate anywhere from 11% - 13%, i'm probably closer to 18%.

So taking your weight is a lot more than just jumping on once and doing it? I could understand a lb or 2 difference, but when it's 10 - 15lbs difference, i don't understand.
Oh yea, those scales are notorious for being 2-20 lbs off. The only way to get an accurate reading is an average. Otherwise you might think you lost 15 lbs in one workout.
There's someway to get the coefficient of error figured out so you only have to do it once, but I can't remember how. I read it in a book one time.
