How is Andreas Zapatinas doing these days?

Serge when doing Back Squats you always stood on a piece of wood?

You said you ate rice and beans alot with your meat? Green Veggies?

How come you never like to train obliques?

So the more food you eat you can do shorter rest periods? But, if you don't eat alot of food you need longer rest periods?

It's more complecated than that, without a lot of proteins you cannot built muscle period. It's not the quantity of proteins that you eat either, but the combination of both.

I will continue this time non stop. It may sound crazy but that is why I am in Brazil too ! just to train & eat well away from the business and intense Paris life. Good for tourists but quite different for work.

I have cameras in my pubs and my sister is doing the administration there. I check up on internet & skype or phone each day...

Two things here in Sao Paulo: get down to 'human' bodyweight at about 115kg (I was 144kg) I'm now 134.
Do the carnaval of Rio de Janeiro on February 4th 2009. Crazy infront of 180,000 at the Sambodrome. It's a once in a lifetime thing !

I will be back around april or if possible may.

So next time you come to Paris you have to be 110kg, now I am 98kg.

Yes with my meat. Never a lot of vegetable.

I never trained my obliques, I want my waist to stay the smallest possible.

My training going fine.

I eat pizza if my body ask me to.

I am wanting to know in the remaining pages and also the new thread is there anything else that i need to know starting serge's routine?

I have read thoroughly on the intermediate workout, the rest times, the diet.
But is there anything that was mentioned after that , that i should be aware of?

I know that when I get to 110kg's... everything will be much better. Mental, spirit, even work (respect from people to me & vice versa !) - sitting on the old 'Armitage Shanks' a brand of toilets in the UK and looking down at a freeking tyre is a pain in ...se ! 110kg here I come. what would you suggest for someone who cannot do chinups when starting your routine?
is there another excersise you would recommend until they get stronger?
im talking about someone who can only do 1-4 chinups at max.

When I was at REM gym training about four times only... There was Serge, of course ! and another young Bodybuilder that Serge was looking after. A guy of about 25 years maybe a little younger who could do 30 x 100 kg in the bench press (he was a black guy not a white). He had great potential.
This just to say that when we had dips or chins he would grab your feet and you would squeeze out 12 - 10 reps it's called having good training partners.

You can try training on your own, but to get some competition going = intensity, a training partner helps a lot to push into the pain zone = gains.

I would say 1 year at REM gym = about 3 in another 'normal' gym as goes for muscle gains. No problemo !

Yes it does, otherwise Serge won't know who I'm talking about? There are two guys who trained alongside Serge, one was a beginner a white guy and the other who I related to as the Black guy was more advanced.

You know I'm 46, I've been around a bit. Serge knows who I am. Don't even try to imagine I'm racist ok.

Trust me these guys are cool and they are happy with their skin too!

How typical, I have caught a flu and I cant even get out of the house, thats how bad it is. Did 3 weeks of Serges routine so far and I cant wait to get back at it, though I have to start over. The first week soreness is gonna be enjoyable, again!

Try to progress with at least your body weight on pull down behind neck machine.

That's true, but if you have a strong mind you have to train by your own, I never train with someone in my life.
