I think having this every night for the last few weeks has been the reason my weight loss has stalled, haha. My portions work out to be about 600 cals, so I think its time to make it a once-a-week treat...I'm gonna miss it though!

Yesterday I made it as follows:

    3 tbsp heavy whipping cream
1 tbsp natural peanut butter (unsalted)
1 scoop ON 100% whey, double rich chocolate

Put it in the freezer for 20-30 min.

Tasted like fudge and had a really thick consistency (until it thawed somewhat), but with more of a milk undertone.

Definitely plan to continue experimenting with this!

So I dumped in half the little bottle(500ml) of whipping cream to make about a cup of ice cream. Mixed whey and peanut butter. Tasked great when I found out 15ml= 50 calories. Which mean I consumed over 250 ml of cream and 833 calories plus the protein powder and some peanut butter we're looking at close to 1000 calories. How can this be right for 1 cup of ice cream?

This thread is just awesome! I experimented with a bunch of versions of whipping cream ice cream. Here's my two favorites:

    PB/Chocolate/Caramel Ice Cream

    3T heavy whipping cream
    1T peanut butter
    1 tsp cocoa powder
1 tsp Walden Farms caramel dip
    1/2 packet Stevia

    250 calories, 23.5g fat, 4g net carbs, 3.5g protein

    Chocolate/Coconut/Almond/Caramel Ice Cream

    3T heavy whipping cream
    1T unsweetened coconut flakes
    10g almonds, chopped
    1 tsp cocoa powder
1 tsp Walden Farms caramel dip
    1/2 packet Stevia

    250 calories, 23g fat, 3g net carbs, 2g protein

The heavy whipping cream does pack some calories, just gotta go easy with the serving size. The first time I made this recipe I was like, damn this is going to be one tiny portion. But the heavy cream makes for a pretty rich-tasting ice cream. A little goes a long way.

Just made this and am eating it as I type:

1 scoop choc nut whey (from myprotein.co.uk)
3 heaped teaspoons of extra thick double cream
    1 tsp almond butter.

Had to add a splash of milk to get it wet enough to mix.

    OMG this stuff is good!

    thanks!

Just building my resources for my plan to try keto for a few reasons and stumbled across this post.

One of my reasons for trying keto is mild acne and nothing triggers a break out faster than ice cream so this is perfect!

Tastes good, will try the pnb version next.

Try it bradroche... I mean, I assume it'd be brick hard after being frozen for too long though... but don't see why you can't triple the recipe if you got the need / appetite for it
