Guys, I have an update for the voting process.
I sent JayDigs a PM to see if there was a way to get the initial post to remain editable forever. The family list should be on first page, on the first post.
I also need to be able to edit the first post if I want to use this thread for the poll.
It would seem he hasn't logged in since last evening, so he hasn't seen the PM yet. I think a mod will have to unlock the post to make it editable but I want more details from him.

Thanks for the explanation on the Iron Grip plates and deadlifting.
That makes perfect sense. It is a bitch the way they roll/don't roll.
You can't roll it towards you, as you guys explained. Though I've never done that, I've read about and understand it.
I seem to have permenent shin damage. The bar tries to roll around every time I set it down based on how the plates shifted during the pull. I have taken to placing a couple of 10 pound plates on the floor on each side, one in front of the plates and the other behind, in order to keep it pretty well where I want it. That seems to help.
