    Deloading question

What is deloading? When do you incorporate a deloading period in your workouts? I am clueless on this. Make me aware please.

Deloading, as i have come to know it, is a period of either reduced intensity, volume or both. When to incorporate it, is clearly an individual thing. I've seen it most commonly incorporated after 3-4 weeks of hard training.

Usually there is a 30-40% decrease in total volume after as said before, a 3-4 week period. Like in my case, I go 3 weeks hard and 1 week unloading and call it 1 cycle.

It's a lot by feel. Some people will benefit from a deload period, while some really don't need to take one very ofter. The general guideline is anywhere from 3-5 weeks. In a WB routine, you can do such things as only doing the ME & DE lifts with aux. lifts during the DE week, with the ME lifts around 85%, or you can do all DE & aux. with no ME lifts.
