Yanyan, take some antacids like Pepcid AC before you drink if you wanna get rid of the slightly embarassing Asian glow. Non-Asians get it too but Asians in general lack ADH (alcohol dehydrogenase) which is an enzyme that facilitates alcohol metabolism. As we all know, alcohol is a poison to your body, so basically you are having a hightened allergic reaction to it, which people with more ADH would not experience due to body efficiencies.
I usually take 2 of them, and they taste pretty good. Tums, Pepcid, whatever works. No glow and it helps ya digest the junk you eat while you drink too...lol.
Read this too, might be of interest:

Btw, you like hard stuff man? I usually stick with hard alcohol/hard cocktails over beers, but I think you and I have similar tastes.
Some of my favorites:
Manhatten
Side Car
Mint Julep
Gin & Tonic
Dark & Stormy
Rum & Diet Coke
straight rum (no rocks)
White Russian
If a chick comes up to you and asks you what you're drinking, 99% of the time you'll pull more tail when you're drinking something like the above (provided that you actually like drinking the drink) than Bud Light or Keystone...LOL.

What exactly is the asian glow you guys are talking about? Is it just like you get sweaty from drinking or what? I don't drink very much so I don't know

.
385 went up easy but the psychological pain/physical scarring is still there. I need to keep working out the kinks in my butt.
I'm going for 400 next Friday. And then I think it would be wise to stay at 400 for a while before I hurt myself.
