Why do parents bring small kids to rated R movies?

So after hearing about how good Forgetting Sarah Marshall is I decided to go and see it. Right before the movie started this fat husband and wife came and I couldn't believe that they brought their two little boys. One had to be no older then 6 and the other one couldnt have been older then 9 or 10. What the hell is wrong with people. I am not big on goverment regulations but why are they allowed to bring kids that young into a movie like that? Obviously they cannot make responsible decisions for their kids. It also happened when I went and saw Four Brothers. There should definetly be an age limit even if you are with an adult.

It really is none of your business what they let their kids see you know this right?

Some people can't afford babysitters or just prefer to be with their kids.

    On another note....

I hate kids in movies theaters, they cry all the time and then get bored.

Actually it is my business when their kids are talking and climbing all over their parents because they are bored of the movie. Also just because I am not the kids parents and they are doesn't make it right does it? Also if you can't afford a babysitter don't go to the ****ing movie. Wait until it comes out on dvd.

It's the parents choice, bottom line. Doesn't bother me as long as the kids are behaved in the theater.

They are too cheap to get a babysitter. You notice they are not too cheap to be obese though?

Yeah well I dont' think it should be the parents choice. There is no need for a 6 and 10 year old in a rated R movie. I think there should be laws against allowing anybody that young to go to a movie like that. It is obvious parents cannot make the right decision.

Yeah I used to watch horror movies when I was younger. But movies have changed since then. Jason and Freddy movies arn't as bad as say House of 1000 corpses or the new Halloween. It is totally different.

They'll just buy the dvd. Kid's will see whatever parents deem worthy.

In England there are age restrictions for movies, PG, 12A (kids under 12 must be with an adult), 15 and 18 (both strict age limits). Way better system IMO.

Big ****ing deal, some people don't have a problem with nudity. It's a romantic comedy, not like it's going to ruin their lives.

Let me guess. You don't want them to watch an R rated movie but they can play games where people kill. Granted it's simulated but so are movies. This movie isn't rated R.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1060277/

So does that mean it's ok to see people getting murdered or killed in horrible ways but it's not ok to see a pair of tits? Lay it on the table. Tell us how it's suppose to be.
