this may sound stupid, but i see a lotta guys when after they lift, you can visibly see their vains - is this because i have too much body fat, or am not lifting enough or?

why don't my vains pop when working out?
4/14/08 - 240/28% - screw you, pizza!
6/17/09 - 224/? - not much progress from 14 months but had about a year break
7/05/09 - 220/24.5% - pull-ups + running + sit-ups = good.
8/05/09 - 213.5/23% - starting to enjoy running
10/08/09 - 200/21% - I am now a runner!
7/10/09 - 9:37 mile. A new record for me.
7/21/09 - 9:34 a week ago, but now hitting 10:08.
8/05/09 - 9:22 mile, 22:00 2 miles, 36:30 3 miles
10/08/09 - I ran 8 miles straight outside the other day!

i think its alot to do with genetics.. ive been vascular/vainy in my arms and legs all my life, even when i was at a higher bodyfat..
But it would also be to do with bodyfat levels, if u where to get to like sub 5% ud have to have veins..
I just dont carry much bf on my arms and legs..Keep Your Eye On The Prize!, Never lose sight of what you want.

alot has do to with genetics. I have friends who have veins and they do not work out. Yet, even though I do not have a very low bf, I have been lifting all my life and have only had a slight veins showing. My biggest vein is in my forehead when I am squatting

If you want more veins, reduce your carbohydrate intake, i've noticed that when i eat high protein, combined with eating real low in carb, i get real chiseled and cut, however i feel sluggish and lethargic when i do that. That's why bodybuilders in precontest experience the "Precontest Syndrome"
