Some background on my injury
I messed up my shoulder in June of 07. I had done this before and just waited a week for it to heal. Tried to come back early 2 times, ****ed it up even worse. I would come back and then hurt my other shoulder. I think the injury switched from my left to right shoulders like 3 times, it was wierd. But none of this would have happened it i didint push myself
So after about 2-3 months of trying to heal, i went to the doctor. He diagnosed it wrong (forgot what he said it was), told me to rest it (september 07 at this time). So i go to school, started to work out again, he told me i could workout chest and shoulder light, but in reality i coudlnt because it hurt to much. I would do light shoulders still tho, and couldnt do any chest. Didnt get any better, my shoulder would hurt all day, every day.
So now its December 07 and im back home for winter break, go back to the doctor cause its still not better, he tells me to go to a physical therapist. Went to him for 3 weeks then continued on my own for another 6 weeks one i went to school. Didnt get ANY better.
Now its like Feb 08 and I finally get an MRI. My doctor cant see anything wrong, some fluid in my front shoulder which he says might mean i have a torn labrum (at this point if u cant tell i ****ing hate my doctor, hes a huge douche bag who doenst know ****)
So decide to never see that old doc again, find a shoulder specialist in my college town, go to him, he tells me right off that i have a cyst in my front shoulder and a bone spur rubbing against my rotator cuff and i need surgery since ive tried everthing else.
Get surgery 2 weeks later and here I am!!
Going in for my post op appointment on Monday, dunno my time table for reovery or anythin yet
CANT WAIT TO START WORKING OUT UPPER AGAIN!!!!!!
Obstacles/Annoyances I have ancountered
-Not being able to work out
-Only using my left hand, such a bitch to eat,type,write, get dressed
-Expensive as ****
-Gettin crazy with my gf is hard
-Not being able to shower which means i cant even do cardio cause i would sweat a lot and then not be able to shower and be stinky as ****

I dunno yet, ill post it when i get the hospital/sugery bill tho.
So far its been $1000 for 2 weeks of PT
$1000-2000 for doctors appointments
$600 for an MRI
Surgery/hospital bill i dunno yet, but when i find out ill tell u
Im not gonna be rushing it at all!! Ive already been out 10 months, a couple more aint gonna be ****!!
Cant wait to get back to 200 lbs tho. Ive planned out my next stacks for the next 6 months already!
Also gonna try some DC training!
When i come back:
4 weeks 3x a week full body workout, no supps
4 weeks DC training topical 6 oxo/lean xtreme/activate xtreme
7 weeks DC training X factor
1 week rest
4 weeks DC training topical 6 oxo/lean xtreme/Primal Male
4 weeks DC training Primal male
7 weeks DC training XF
31 weeks right there!!

Day 6 Update
So im only taking 1-2 vic a day now, but take advil 3 times a day
I still have a little pain, especially during the night. Usually i take 1 vic before bed then one some times during the night
It defenently hurts when i flex my shoulder tho, but i try not to.
Doing the excercises where i hang my arm down and do a cross motion and circular motions, 5 times a day. I am defenently getting better mobility.
Still wearing my sling but i could not wear it if i wanted the doc said but its more comfortable with it and when ppl see it they wont accadentally mess with my shoulder cause it hurts like a bitch if u touch it

Great log! Very thorough.
Hope you recovery quickly. I was in a very similar boat, and am now looking at surgery in July. Any tips you can offer are greatly appreciated.

Hmm...I would say get a couple opinions from doctors. I wish i would have got a 2nd opinion sooner cause my first doctor was a huge douche bag and pretty much set me back like 6 months by diagnosing me wrong twice then telling me to rest it/rehab it.
Yeah im so glad it wasnt a tear!! What are codmans exercises? The cross and circle ones? lol
I can take the sling off actually, but the doctor told me to wear it around people so no one accendentally messes with my shoulder (since they wont playfully hit some one with a sling, ect) and its just more comfortable.

Naw I won't get addicted. I have a lot of friends that pop pills recreationally and I have tried before and they diet do **** so I have no desire to take them to make me feel good, only thing they do for me is ease the pain, so when I have no pain they are useless to me.
Havnt taken any adcil or vic for 2 days tho, this weekend was kinds rough tho cause I was getting a little too crazy with the gf...LOL, not good. But before I had not taken any vic for 2 days too so I think I'm in the clear, no major pain
