hey guys. i recently got my metabolic typing done, and it has has put me on the right track, so i thought i would show you all what it is, and how it works. it is very basic, and logical when you think about it. i wa going to put it in the nutrition section but i want to get across to teens.
Metabolic typing is the term for a diet based upon the concept metabolic type that people have unique metabolisms, and that therefore the nutrients and their balance which are appropriate for one person may be inappropriate for a second, and detrimental for a third. An example of this is Eskimos, compared with aboriginal Australians. Eskimos eat a very high fat, high protein diet which nearly all consists with seafood. They have a very high fat diet, yet do dot have a word in their language for cancer. Aboriginals, on the other hand eat very high carbohydrate and protein diets, mostly food from plants, trees and wild animals, and this keeps them healthy.
I don't want to make this post to long, but it is very interesting. you can buy the book that is called The Metabolic Typing Diet: Customize Your Diet to Your Own Unique Body Chemistry. I am a fast oxidising person, so i need high protein, high fats, low carbs. give it a try!
any questions post them up and i will try and answer them

You dont need a book for this man.
The fast oxidizers are usually skinny, the balanced ones respond well to a range of diets and training and the slow oxidizers can't tolerate carbs well and are usually fatter.Success is believing in what you can do, and doing it better every time.
