Take a look at my photos and training. Then salve your ego by claiming that the man is weak.

I know the feeling
My wife never liked weight training but did a lot of cardio.
Then at about 35 she was told to lift due to a family history of osteo.
She got a trainer and loved it! And she did so well that in less than a year the gym used her pictures for ads.
At about that time my younger son who was 13 told me "Dad, Mom has some guns." And she did.
It wasn't long after that she first challenged me to armwrestle. I had almost 40 pounds on her and worked out 2-3 times a week. At first I beat her but she was strong.
Her trainer gave her some instruction and about two months later she beat me for the first time. I was shocked.
And in no time at all, she was beating me regularly. The only reason I didn't feel totally crushed was that she was also beating my friends.

I was measuring my arm which I haven't done in a while and was really happy that it grew and my fiance was curious what his arm measurement was and it turned out to be the same as mine! I think he was really embarrassed and ashamed. I tried not to make a big deal out of it. He's a really skinny guy though 6'0 and barely 150 lbs. But if we were to arm wrestle he would win because he's stronger. I'll definitely catch up and pass him though.
I don't think there's anything wrong at all with being stronger than a man especially if he's your significant other. Maybe you will inspire him to start working out.

Fab, at least he could admit defeat.
Reminds me of visitng my brother a few weeks ago, I jokingly said 'I bet I have bigger biceps than you' when we were out at a family meal. After the meal we compared biceps mine were quiet a bit bigger than his, I wish I had, had a camera to hand to take a picture of the look of shock on his face. He's though is into rock climbing so may have small biceps but I bet he'd have beat me if we had arm wrestled.

WEWT! Good for you!! That.s crazy good. Keep it up!
Bodybuilding is not weight and repetitions; it’s resistance and absolute muscle failure. It’s not quantitative; it’s qualitative. It’s more mental than physical. It’s more control than rage. It’s the realization that you can always get bigger. ~ bodybuilding

Great going ladies!!
I think technique and the rules used makes a heck a lot of difference. (The way we used to do was without leaning, without changing position of elbow. ie. mostly forearm and biceps with little shoulder support/body weight support).
Using those rules I can hold my own against most ppl (girl/boy unless they are super-strong), but under the real rules (followed in comps here), technique rules. My friend could possibly defeat me easily in less than 10 s that way. (Haven't tried, the last time we wrestled was like 4 yrs ago, when I was significantly strong for my weight among my group and was using "our" rules. And he has since come a long way with quite a bit of lifting experience. Was 3rd in his category in the District competition held )
