Arm Wrestling Hah!
Arm wrestling against my husband is no contest. In standard competition, I slam his hand down at the word go. Even when he uses both hands, the same result.
We need some other form of competition that shows how much stronger I am than him. One is I hold my hand against my chest and he uses both of his hands to try to move my hand--but I completely pin him down.
Another is he uses both hands to put one of my arms in a hammer lock. Even in this position, I am in complete control. I can move my arm at will--even pressing his hands into my back--squeezing them.
Finally, when he puts me in a full nelson, I can use my traps to completely control--if he doesn't unlock his hands, I would break them.
What about you ladies--any other ways to demonstrate physical dominance over your mate?

Well, as long as this ancient thread stays open I may as well contribute that I beat my bf at arm wrestling in the summer
We joined a gym together August 2013, he quit for financial reasons in early 2014. This was, coincidentally, around the same time I really began taking the gym extra seriously, educating myself mre and watching my diet.
I (subtly
) nagged at him for months to get back into the gym and heard every excuse in the world; money, work, not having money to eat effectively to support his workouts, blah blah. Nothing worked.
The night I beat him at arm wrestling he went down to the gym and rejoined.
He's now bigger and healthier than every. And so damn sexy it's untrue.
A true success story, LOL (for me mostly )

Great job! I'll never beat my bf, he works out, and does construction, and roofing for living, lol. However I have a brother almost my age who does lift, or do much of anything physical, and he's my first arm wrestling goal. I could probably beat him now, but my wrists are really weak so I want to work on that first.

That's hysterical that the night you beat him he went down to the gym and signed up. Too funny. I just joined a gym this week too (and this and other sites looking for advise), but it wasn't because my wife beat me in armwrestling. She's always been stronger than me (and taller), but I run a lot and am in shape, so it never bothered me or her. My wife swam competitively in college. Once when we were watching television and there was an arm wrestling competition on, I made a comment to my wife about how those women must be on steroids. She joked that "You only said that because they could whip your butt" I then said, "I could whip your butt though, which is all that matters" . She then actually challenged me to an arm wrestling match. Winner does the dishes she says. Well she always does the dishes so it was no risk to her. I accepted . To my shock , and I think to hers also maybe, she won. I could not believe it. She was jumping around like a kangaroo, screaming that she had won. She says "the dishes are waiting " with a grin. I have never lost an arm wrestling contest against another female, but have yet to win against another male. I was so pissed when this skinny little 20 year old twerp beat me (though I was a little drunk so???) so that's a clear indication I need to get so much stronger.
