    195lb practice snatch

Just studying my form on this one, that's why I'm in a raquetball court. No distractions. Trying to not pull so slow from the floor. My feet aren't really jumping forward here like they used to and my speed under the bar looks better. Overall I'm pretty happy. Still working on getting a 220 snatch. I can get close but still need to pull it about an inch higher.

Im no expert but it looks even and smooth which is an issue I had issues with as a younger lifter lifting in the same poundage range(I think I got 215lbs or something once).

I only did snatches for like 8 weeks though.....so again im hardly an expert.

Im playing around with hang snatching right now...I do like 110lbs for triples and stuff, maybe ill integrate it into my next program somehow.

Hi Marc. Pretty good. You are swinging the bar so that eats some of your pull.

Try to get the camera a little closer to you Man it looks like it's 30 feet away

I don't know why the bar swings, maybe a pull issue with trying to clear the knees. It doesn't look too bad IMO but I agree it could be reduced. I think the swinging is reduced if I consciencely think about fully extending before the lift, sometimes I cut the pull short if I try to rush the lift. I don't think it is swinging as bad as some lifters but I am definately open to suggestions to fix it. If you watch the bar path and dont pay attention to my gangly arms or the huge surroundings the bar path doesn't seem to deviate too far from what is considered acceptable.

Pointing my toes out more at the start of the pull may help the bar clear my knees better too, I have messed around with this before (more resembling koleckis pull) and it might help me keep the bar moving more vertically. Not sure.

That is a great snatch man...as far as the swing i know when i had a little bit of a swing it was from my pelvic region kicking the bar out minutely at the extension of the pull just a thought....
