Hello,
I wanted to start using supplements such as creatine and protein powder. I planned to take one shake a day with both combined on workout days and off days. (Optimum Nutrition Creatine and Whey)
I've read the stickies about creatine on this forum so I figured I'll just take 5g... but I'm not sure how many scoops / grams of protein powder. Since I want to mix it together, it would be nice if some of you that do the same could give me advice.
And about the ammounts of shakes a day, should I take one in the morning too or is a post-workout shake enough?
(I'm turning 17 soon and my weight is 65kg/143lbs, in case that's of help)
Cheers.

Protein powder is just a highly processed protein source. Always choose whole, less processed foods like steak, eggs, chicken, fish, beans etc etc over scoops of protein powder especially trying to grow as you want to be. It’s likely to add nothing extra for you since it’s calories you want and protein powder has little.
Your nutrition and workout program determines your success.

If you read the sticky on creatine you missed the one on minors and advice for them regarding supplements.
Protein powder is just powdered food. People use it to meet their macros if they need the help. Some do, some don't. Just eat food. Powdered food is not better nor worse than non-powdered varieties."I'm pretty sure your wrong, but care to elaborate..."
