Buying my first sling shot. Not sure it'll help a raw lifter, but it looks like a fun as **** tool to work with.

Well that's good to hear. I want 4 plates so bad lol
Just can't decide between the Original or Full Boar. I'm reading reviews that the OG isn't big enough for guys with larger than average arms, which I do have, but measurements would be nice as I'm not sure what people are considering average. Just don't want to get the Full Boar if it's gonna have less carry over to my raw bench...
Ended up going w the Full Boar.Last edited by BenBlue; 11-23-2018 at 01:35 PM.

Neat, water heater is bricked; thermocoupler. I can skate by on 'low', but if I turn it up the burner blows out the pilot light. Time to get a new one anyways though. Looked at Tankless; $2000 for the unit and install, due to having to rewire to put a socket close to it and re-do the venting.
New tank is only $650 and install, so guess I'll go for another tank. Fun times.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

Yeah I'd definitely just go with the $650/install and leave it. Unless you plan on staying in the house for the rest of your life, in which case it might be beneficial to go for the tankless.
Black Friday purchases include 2 x JetMass and PES 7-Serving PBC from BB.com. Other site I got three bottles of OL Amnes1a for 75 shipped. Been really wanting to try that based on the feedback.iForce Blueberry Muffin: forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=169778043

Anyone spend money yesterday? We had nothing going on so we went to Best Buy. Came out with two Apple watches and a new convection/toaster/air fryer. Wasn’t planning on spending that much but I did...
Now for the ****ty stuff... I am getting bids on replacing my hvac system in my house. One quote is 20k. I have teo more this coming week and at least 3 more companies to call. I would be happy with 12-15k. That 20k bid doesn’t even include duct work.Free Agent...

I don't plan on moving, but had an electrician check it out too, I'd need to re-do my circuit breaker too since it has no extra space; so ~$2k extra just for that, so nah I'll go with the tank.
Yeah, the fun surprises.
Wish I had a Home Depot closer to me, replacing a tank is easy but it's 50 minutes to the store and I'd need to borrow a truck, drive the new tank here, then get rid of the old on. More convenient to pay someone else to do it.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

Any good protein deals you guys have seen? I'm trying to get some for both myself and my mom lol. I've been looking at OL superior protein. I want to try out those cereal flavors.

They have muscle beach protein bogo and you can do the 25% off code on it. I have the chocolate and at 1st I just thought it was ok but realized that it’s cause I drink it with water.... once I mixed it with milk...... damn good to me (I don’t like overly sweet stuff) I also have the PB cookie flavor and have yet to try it with milk (ran out of milk) but it seems really lightly flavored.... I’ll update once I give it a go with milk

I picked up 2 PB Cookie, 1 Chocolate, and 1 C&C a couple of weeks ago
when it was buy get one free but now it's a even better deal cause you
get 25% off so I would say jump on it.
I just cracked the PB Cookie yesterday and I didn't try it yet in a shake but I
made overnight proats and it thickened up nicely and it's light PB flavor that's
not overly sweet. Then today I made a stack of PB, Blueberry, Banana frosted
pancakes and they came out VERY fluffy and light so this will be a good for
baking, cooking and proats.
I will update with a review on flavor and all the basics once I try it a few times
but again for the price it's selling for in the store on the Black Fri sale I would
say it's worth a try.Last edited by superhuman67; 11-26-2018 at 05:06 AM.

To ship it out to me is ~1 month, for whatever reason that's what Lowes and Home Depot do. I might be able to express deliver it, which is ~2 days, but I need to see if that's worth the cost. I could Amazon one but it'd cost me double.
Again, I'd have to drive and pick it up, then get rid of the old one, so I'd just install myself at that point.
It's an old tank, 10 years, and came with the house and has been very problematic. I'd rather replace than fix it again.
Anything local doesn't sell the tanks, pains of being ~45 miles to the next decent sized city.
The water still gets warmish, but not hot; if it is going to take them longer than 1 or maybe 2 weeks to get it here I'll just go buy it and do it myself.
Edit- Nevermind, express is $80; might be worth it, then I can get it done by a local plumber. Need to wait until Tuesday to call around.Last edited by gbullock32; 11-25-2018 at 10:54 PM.

Eh, tired of editing the other post. Just went balls deep and ordered it, $790 and will be delivered on Thursday. I'll probably just install it myself to save a few bucks.
1% cash back on all purchases with my credit card though, so yipee I got $7.90 back.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
