Could someone please provide me with an estimate? I'm 5ft 8 and 150 lbs and have been cutting since the beginning of the year. I'm doing the Fierce 5 workouts and will probably start eating at maintenance. I'd like to get into a reasonable shape for my wedding in a couple of months before looking to add on some weight and lift heavier. Any feedback would be appreciated. Photo 1 is my before picture and photo 2 is now.

Thanks bro. A little disappointed because frankly diet is getting to me both physically and emotionally and gym performance has gone downhill. I was thinking I am almost 10 percent with just lower abs left and a couple of kg will remove that but at 13 percent it will be 4ish kg more to lose which I think will be too much ( speed is also slow now) and at 73 I will be a skeleton . But what to do. Unfortunate bf distribution. 😕
Shoulders and back always get lean and I don't lose bicep vein even at 20 plus percent. But these stupid Lower abs never show 😒
Anyway sorry for the vent. Will continue for a couple more kg and if they show that's great otherwise I will just let it go for now.

Hello. I posted about a month ago on this forum and was estimated at 25% bf. Since then, I’ve lost 9lbs and have been doing strength training and light cardio 4-5 times a week. My lifts have actually still been slightly increasing too. My old and new photos are in my bodyspace. Wanted to see if I could get a new bf estimate based on my progress. Thanks so much.

5'8"
163 pounds. I thought the scale said 170 a few months ago despite no dieting. It is a $5 scale, spring dial. This time I made sure it was zeroed and that I took my shoes and jeans off. My waist is around 35 inches and was 32 when I was 15-20 pounds lighter. I know 15-20 pounds is recent ice cream fat.

I can curl 80 pounds.
Before I hurt my wrists years ago I could bench 150 pounds and weighed 150. Now I just do high reps.
Before my knees got worse, I could grass to ass squat a 135 pound barbell when I weighted 150.
Before I tore an elbow tendon years ago, I could do 16 chin-ups when I was 150 pounds.
I think I'm 26% body fat. I store most my fat on my torso. I also have a hunch back and thick rib cage front to back.
My goal is to hit 10% body fat to reduce the weight on my injured knees. Getting stronger would be nice.
My plan is to lose 30 pounds in 4 months without losing any muscle, by eating 500 calories less than sedentary maintenance, and exercising 500 calories per day above sedentary maintenance, 1000 total per day. I burn most of those calories walking 3.2 mph on a treadmill 5% incline, but also stimulate my other muscles with other exercises. I take HMB to be safer.
I can't fix ugly, but I aim to become healthy.Last edited by Darkius; 05-08-2021 at 07:32 PM.

You look ~24% to me but I’m still learning so I can start contributing
I’d be ecstatic if I was 13% but I think I’m higher than that. My lifts did stay the same but I don’t have much muscle, particularly in my legs; I’ve been doing this from home and doing what I can with a bench, but body weight squats and stuff can only get you so far. I just got my second vaccine dose so I’ll be in the gym again in 2 weeks
I’m still not happy with it so I’m cutting for 2 more months regardless, just wanted to see how I was faring
Good luck on yours man. I had surgery for a torn meniscus and I’m also a treadmill walker... injuries make it harder but I think with the focus you seem to have you’ll get your target and feel great in the processChemE in education, SoftwareE in job
